A lot of people on here seem to be living on Fantasy Island. There is NO chance of playing in England. There is no chance of playing at all if we have no licence. If we get no licence then we die. No revenue streams means no club. That should be obvious but some seem to fantasise about a year out, playing glamour friendlies (as if any glamour team would want to take part) and then moving to England. If we die, then our titles will be taken away anyway, because we will not be there to do anything about it. And like you say, if we get our licence, under any conditions, then we are in a position to move towards a new euro league.

Daily Telegraph posted a story this evening about ongoing negotiations etc. It's now been taken down. I wonder if it has anything to do with a changed situation? I won't allow myself to get too optimistic.

If we don't get a licence we will be dead. On the other hand, the SPL clubs will just cut their cloth and will survive, one way or another. Sorry, but I don't want us to face certain death.

If the choice is between losing titles and playing next season and future years or between going bust and losing titles (which is what will happen if we don't get a licence, then it's obvious what we should do. It's all very well for people to say'no backing down etc', but Green has to go for the best that can be achieved and not the best that can be imagined. I hope he does this.

The best thing about Green is that he is NOT a 'Rangers man'. Imagine if we had the 'passionate' Bomber Brown 'whose blood is blue' (and other cliches) was negotiating for us. I wouldn't fancy our chances.

We'll still get pathetic and uninformed comments about Green being an asset stripper and only in it for the money though. Imagine if Brown and his 'passion' had been involved over the last few days and weeks. Where would we be then? Doesn't bear thinking about.

Sports Direct in Speke, Liverpool have got no Rangers tops in. You can get almost everything else there. It would be good to see a deal which saw our shirts on display.

Winning the league is what counts. Cups would be nice though.

We may not win the major cups but could do a spot of giant killing on the way. I don't think anyone, especially Celtic, will want to get us in the draw as they would have so much to lose. They could recieve their biggest humiliation ever.

The most important thing is survival. Sometimes I think the no surrender crowd want us to die and go down in a blaze of glory. bollocks to that. I'd rather not have sanctions but if the choice is between survival or death I know what I would go for.

I'd be disgusted if we did this. How would we feel if some outside club was trying to take advantage of our problems by buying us up and changing our name? Anyway, it's not going to happen.
