Nobody's expecting to win the CL, it's just that I think we're entitled to think that the manager might be able to get a bit better out of his full-time, well-paid team against part-time opposition. No other manager has had the advantages that he has had this season.

I think we should be forging links with clubs who have been in a similar situation. In England we have recently had Chester and Darlington needing to reform and start again, due to bad boardroom management. Chester have had three successive promotions and will be in the Blue Square Premiership next season. Darlington look like winning the Northern League at the first attempt. It would also be great publicity if we could be seen empathise with help these clubs and help them out.

The problem is that they might not know what those best interests are. I don't think spending us into oblivion and ignoring a good scouting and youth set-up is in the best interests of the club but I think AM and WS might.

I don't think that promotion from D2 is at all certain next season.

Ally would bankrupt Rangers given the opportunity. He rally seems to think that the club can and should spend money on 'signings' for no reason. He seems to actually believe that we a replaying crap because he is not aboe to get the cheque book out. He should have learned his craft at a D3 club who don't have the luxury of being able to buy success. Playing in the lower leagues was an opportunity to get away from pay more money attitude but he was either unwilling or unable to do this. I've been thinking exactly the same thing. It's not good if he was driven out but the alternative is far worse.
