I'm not saying its the answer far from it but surely you have to try that before using VAR and other means, it wouldn't solve everything but if anything I think it would give a bit of consistency to them, they get taught the rules together and have them constantly drilled into them and also make a system were they are independently marked by a superior who decides whether they had a good game, if they had a bad one demote them a league or 2 for a couple of weeks.

Half the people who moan about giving other teams fuck all and wanting to boycott games at there ground have usually never even been to an away game

Obviously something needs to change but I don't see how bringing in foreign refs helps, if anything it will effect the refs we already have even more. Here's a crazy idea, make the officials you have already full time then maybe have a discussion about VAR rather than spend an obscene amount hiring other refs.

Like you said players will hit patchy form but we have been on good form a couple of times this season and then the wheels suddenly come off again, my 1 criticism of Gerrard is his need to find something different than 4-3-3 against teams that will sit in. To many times this season we have seen the same match over and over its becoming predictable at times now.

He is correct but, weve seen this team play with aggresion and passion but basically at least once a month one of these performances appear from nowhere were they look totally uninterested.

Actually thought his distribution was okay today, one throw in particular that started a potential counter only for someone to take a bad touch and give away possesion. Done his job well today and the only one who gets a pass, maybe Kamara as well at a push it was an ok debut.

Bit of a shakeup in the east with the last minute trades, Toronto get Marc Gasol, Milwaukee got Mirotic and IMO have become clear favourites to come out of the East but the 76ers also traded for Tobias Harris which makes there core very strong. Lakers moved Beasley and Zubac on to the clippers for Mike Muscala who had only just joined them a day or two before.

We need to have a 2nd option tactically to turn to, 4-3-3 is our best formation without doubt but we are at times predictable and have struggled against teams who have parked the bus. It is still all about us but the more options we can choose from the better for us.

I'd go as far to say for one of the top teams as well. I actually think for the size of him Morelos is quite a good header of the ball, the problem is 9 times out of 10 he is playing against big lumps who's best attributes are heading meaning the cross needs to be bang on the money for it to have any chance of getting to him.

On paper and at first sight it's a disaster of a trade for Knicks, but reading between the lines Porzingis stated he wasn't happy at NY and would like moved, they done it swiftly whilst freeing up cap space to make a run at 2 free agents in the summer rather than just the 1. Its a big gamble but we will only know the results come the summer, they could end up with KD and Kyrie or with Tobias Harris and Kris Middleton, both good players but not game changers like the other 2.

Thinking about it i'm not sure Kawhi would be the greatest fit on the Lakers, they would be very heavy on the frontcourt and wouldn't have much for the guard position's one out of Klay, Kyrie or Kemba would balance them out. Boston can't trade for AD until the summer unless they get rid of Kyrie before the trade deadline, some league rule about the contract they are both on.

Premier sports picked up the Serie A and Eridivisie, don't know if it's just until the season ends or for longer.

Should really be open door time for the Lakers to try and get him before the deadline or Boston will become serious players in the summer to try and get AD. Think KCP has the same agent as AD so no doubt they will send him to the Pelicans if they can get the deal done. If the Lakers manage to get another player like Klay or Kawhi on top of AD and Lebron then its game over IMO.

Bt done a documetary about the programme last year as well which is well worth a watch for the nostalgia alone.
