  1. The midfield 3 didn't work. For European games we need 2 in midfield who can build the play but also be defensively sound. Both Arfield and Aribo can't do this, so just one of those 2 should play. With Kamara and Jack unavailable that means playing Lungstram or young Kelly.
  2. I agree with most of that except "move the ball onto other players as fast as possible" They don't move the ball quickly enough, often taking an extra touch and don't pass with enough pace. This makes it easier for the opposition to close down space.
  3. It's too early to judge our summer signings. It's unfortunate that the guy has the health scare with his heart as we're definitely short in midfield with Jack out and Kamara suspended. It's up to Gerrard to use the squad and drop those not performing even if they are our big names. Nobody's place should be guaranteed. Start with Tav, we've got an excellent replacement available. Give Patterson his chance and let Tav fight his way back into the team. Same with Kent, give him a spell as a substitute until he finds his form. And with Barasic too.
  4. Balogun was poor at both goals. Lost this man for the 1st because of ball watching. For the second he was left exposed by others but should of done alot better. Allowing the play to turn was poor but his attempt to block the shot was pathetic. He should be putting his body on the line to block the shot.
  5. I don't think it was anything to do with being regarded favourites. We lost because of poor team selection, poor tactics, too many players being off form, too many players not able to handle the pressure. Malmo played as a team, well organised and brave. We didn't.
  6. No he shouldn't, the team should of walked off the park and not returned until the racial abuse was dealt with.
  7. I think Barasic needs a rest, Tav's got no excuse. Let's see what Bassey and Patterson can do on Friday and if they perform they should keep their place in the team.
  8. We were poor at managing the game after the 1st goal. We didn't keep the ball and let them back into the game. The second half continued as the first half finished.
  9. Strong leaders in the dressing room!? Pity we didn't have any on the park.
  10. That's a terrible performance tonight but it wasn't a surprise, we've been poor in every competitive game so far, except maybe for a short period versus Livi. I think Gerrard has to take some of the blame, he picked the team and wasn't brave enough to drop some of our regular starter who are clearly not performing. For the Dunfermline game, Tav, Kent, Arfield, Barasic and Goldson need dropped.
  11. I've had previously problems with them but it must of been challenging with all this covid stuff and getting a late ok for a full house.
  12. Way too early to judge. Maybe he should be playing as the deepest sitting of the midfield trio.
  13. Saltcoats is a dive, Ardrossan is just beautiful! 🙂 If you like an curry, try the Juipur, it's as good as any of Indian restaurant in Glasgow.
  14. He looked the best player on the park when he came on.
  15. They got a deal with the bank that saved liquidation and being placed in the bottom league.
  16. She's could of helped if she wanted to, did Salmond not help hearts by helping broker a deal with the Lithuanians?
  17. I don't think they were asking for public money but asking if there was anyway that she can help. It's normal for MP's to help struggling business, organisations, charity's or individuals if they can. Is she not the MSP for that area of Glasgow, if so she should of been duty bound to help. I presume she didn't want to help as she thought it might cost her votes from Rangers haters.
  18. Shameful media coverage. I've not heard the side of what happened from the fans perspective reported in the media. All completely one sided. If it had been protest about Palestine or some other woke cause we'd be reading about heavy handed policeing and mainly peaceful protests.
  19. Stonewall penalty, it's not for the tackle with his feet but for the pulling on his arm. Totally pulls him down, it's not subtle and there's a great view of it on the TV from the behind the goal camera.
  20. He definitely should of booked him at the next break in play. Can't see why you think he had a good game when he's making such blatant mistakes.
  21. Agree with most of your points but I think Brown got Kent before the ball, I haven't seen it back so might be wrong.
  22. Why did he not book Walsh? Pretty much any foul were you take out an opponent on a break away attack is a booking. With the speed Kent was going at it could of been a sore one? I can't think of any reason why that wasn't a booking?
