Twenty years ago I too was in the Bella Park with my mother Cathy who was a great Rangers fan and my three year old daughter Leanne. We were watching Rangers do their usual pre season training and Miko had just arrived.We were sitting watching the players train when Ally came over and started chatting with us and he was so warm and polite . He made my mothers day and he wasn't doing it for effect either as there was no one else there to witness it barring the players. Still have the photos to prove it. In my eyes Ally is a great guy and he is a genuinely warm and friendly person. Just saw him on Football Fantasy and he still has that great personality that sets him apart from everyone else{especially if you are comparing him to Neil Lennon] I would just love him to be a success with Rangers as he clearly is one of us, and his love of the club cannot be questioned although I would accept that there is much room for improvement on the managerial front.

I'm sure wee lenny said about three weeks ago that he was never going to talk about Rangers again. He just cant stop obsessing about us ,just like the rest of the tarriers.He fails to recognise that Rangers present position has aided celtic significantly since last season.He knows that there is no merit in anything that he achieves and it is all so hollow. You would think that his agent would have spent some time with Paul prior to the show ,saw his condition and cancelled. But he didn't. The main thing is that all Rangers fans wish or pray for Paul to make a recovery.That is the most important thing. Its only a doctor and Mental Health Officer who can detain someone under the Mental Health Act but his agent could have contacted a GP if he was so concerned.That would have got the ball rolling. We just have different opinions on this and thats what makes the world go round.
