  1. I hate celtic. Disgusting club, disgusting history. As a Rangers supporter, particularly if you follow a long line of supporters, it’s in your blood and you are conditioned to hate them. I have a real dislike for Hibs, St Mirren, Dundee United and Stirling Albion for various reasons. But I genuinely believe I hate Aberdeen as much as celtic and more than anyone else. Maybe it’s the celebration of Simpson, chanting in celebration of the Ibrox disaster, the entitlement culture around that club where they think they deserve to be successful, maybe it’s the fact that in 30 odd years going to matches I’ve only ever encountered trouble with those scum. They were our biggest challengers for a few years in the late eighties/early nineties. Outside of about 4 or 5 good years in the eighties they are a no mark club but their supporters disgust me beyond belief. And McInnes. What can you say about that prick. The fact that he was one of us and was privileged enough to play for us makes his behaviour so much worse. A club I wouldn’t miss if it died.
  2. At the end of the day we hate them....but Aberdeen were the club where he developed and he was their captain. It would be bad form for him to rip them. Shame the classless fuckers can’t appreciate him for what he did for them, they are so clouded in their hatred of us.
  3. I think Jack is a fantastic player. Much of his work goes unnoticed and he doesn’t get nearly the recognition he deserves.
  4. Good article, factual and accurate. Perfectly articulates what s lot of us on here know but don’t have the writing skills and platform to do so, I know The Dude has taken a lot of flack on here, even more so since taking up employment with the DR. But at least we now have a voice in there dispelling the mythical pish being spouted by the pro-celtic majority. Unfortunately, as good a job as he’s doing, he’s almost a lone voice out there. And as the Rangers Blogger the message may be lost because 1- his target audience are the converted; 2- no matter how much sense and fact he writes the obsessed will be just to bitter, thick or both to get it 3- non-Rangers supporters and non-obsessed Tims probably don’t pay a huge amount of attention to his blog. Whilst I think The Dude is doing a great job and has set the standard for future work, we really need the Club or strategically placed former players to stop being apologists and start challenging the damaging agenda being pushed in the media.
  5. Which you’d only have to negotiate if you have indeed something to hide.
  6. It gives the media an excuse for negative headlines after a positive performance
  7. Hard to disagree. If it had been Halkett on Morelos I’d have had no doubt it was a penalty and probably a red card.
  8. At the time I thought it was never a pen. But during the game you never do.... i think it was a soft penalty but I’d have been shouting for it if it was at the other end.
  9. I hadn’t realised I’d made it that obvious...
  10. The media have tried time and time again to paint Lennon as some kind of misunderstood guy.....tactically astute, intelligent, articulate, witty...but at the end of the day he’s a wee angry, bigoted and violent scumbag that provokes reaction from the opposition before playing the catholic victim card. He can’t hide it and once again the scum in him has surfaced and will continue to do so. I can’t see how any club (outside of those trying to appeal to the fenian victim masses) could see him as a viable option as a manager with his baggage. So Neil, away and drink your fortune away and end up a pish stained jakey in some East End spit and sawdust hell hole living off your tainted titles and blaming your failings on everything and everyone but yourself. Enjoy the gutter. It’s where you deserve to be.
  11. Suspended. But is that due to bad results or has there been an indiscretion? Threatening to beat women again maybe? And is it coincidence that Brenda is working his ticket at the same time going against Liewell?
  12. Should dispense with the myth being pushed in the MSM which had the away support equally to blame....
  13. I wasn’t aware of that @CoatbridgeBear Pish if true.
  14. Cracking watch....and didn’t sugar coat stuff. I don’t think Bain came over too badly other than the scenario where he allowed that Bawbag Sinclair to undermine Grayson. He looked more and more broken as the series went on in my opinion. I think Bain gets a bad rap from us which I find quite unfair. He oversaw the period of overspending but I’m not sure anyone could have worked differently under Murray. And let’s not forget that he produced due diligence warning Murray about Craig Whyte but was ignored.
  15. Better looking than the Thumb’s latest catch.... PS Congratulations to Mr & Mrs Candeias!
  16. I think I agree with an earlier post regards Fernando’s standing as a player. He was decent for us and would certainly have run through a brick wall for the club but I would never have considered him a Rangers Legend. However, looking at the way he has challenged this disease, the positivity he continues to show, I have no doubt that Fernando is a legend as a human being. Keep fighting and while it’s too late let’s hope the work he is doing to raise awareness will get us closer to a point where a cure or treatment can be found.
  17. @The Dude - best line of the article. But it’s good that someone is picking up the inconsistency of the likes of Sutton and Harrison.
  18. Not withstanding the quality of the suggested chant, we shouldn’t be creating chants for players until they’ve earned it. If he fires us to 55 Defoe can have his pick of the chants....
  19. Emilson Cribari played more than 100 games for Lazio. Couldn’t cope with the Scottish Third Division.
  20. Is one of those with lies coming out their mouths his own manager who confirmed gambling was one of his issues.
  21. If any of our players weren’t lifted by playing in front of that crowd at the match.....they don’t deserve to be here. But, to a man each filled the jersey how it should be worn. If we see that in every game from now on 55 is inevitable.
  22. I was going to post something similar. 100%. Has Dave known about the ‘off-field’ issues......
  23. The simple solution is obvious to any normal decent human being. 66 people went to the football and didn’t return. Which transverses allegiances, club, religion etc. So, let’s continue to hold the minutes silence on the closest possible date to the tragedy. Let our own supporters mark it impeccably. If the opposition support fails to observe it respectfully the club should highlight it in the media. The club in question should be advised that if there is a repeat a ban will be issued. Follow through on above if required. My biggest disappointments of the silence last week were 1 - our own support reacting, 2 - the referee cutting it short and 3 - the fact that Craig Gordon totally disrespected the silence and this has not been highlighted.
