I'd take rotten and good numbers forwards any day of the week.
We used to have Sakala for that…..

Lazio ultras will absolutely hammer the groin brigade. Retribution for upsetting Alessandra Mussolini.

Regardless of who the ref is it’s generally a shit show due to them all being on the scale between incompetent and cheating bastard.
Kevin Clancy is off the scale!
we all know that if we beat the scum, much of it will be put down to the ref and we’ll struggle to get a decision for the rest of the season!

celtic are having a shocker:
Manager leaves, pre-season plans go wrong, injuries, star players leave, groin brigade turn on them. And I reckon a large number of the squad have downed tools. I’d also be certain that there’s a split in the boardroom. Desmond wants Brenda, Lawwell doesn’t.
We have a real chance this year.

There’s half of Seoul living in the East End who will be the greatest players ever to grace the game. All brought up loving Sutton too…..

The boy Rieder they’re linked with looks very good tbh but can’t see him going there thankfully, he’s got EPL and Bundesliga teams interested, the tarriers can boast about money all they want but the fact is there is a ceiling for players who will come to Scotland doesn’t matter what cash they throw at them.
This is the crux of it. There is a ceiling and from what I can see our signings are at the top end of it. Players at the 3-6 million level who may not be first choice in decent leagues.
Players in the 7-10 million plus range will always have better options than Scotland and celtic can’t compete in that market.
We both have to go with risky or creative approaches.
Therefore, we seem to be chasing potential players who may have lost their way a bit (Cantwell, Dowell) or players playing at a decent level but not guaranteed starters (Danilo, Dessers, Lammers) We seem to have had a coup with Raskin right enough.
Them, on the other hand, just seem to be chasing an untapped market in Asia and potential players (the Aussie & Norwegian wrong’un) Very risky strategy as they’ve done ok with Kyogo & Hatate (although they’re not so keen on the physical side and can be found out), Maeda has done well from a goal return perspective. But the other 3 or 4 Japanese have been shite and Oh has been pretty shite. More misses than hits!
Maybe I’m biased, but I prefer the look of our strategy. Particularly as the guys we’re signing are our managers picks which is obviously not the case with them.
I’m currently confident in what I’m seeing but this may change if they change their signing approach.

Read the article and he said they won’t be paying a fee for him and that they can’t afford his wages.
it would need a massive favour from arsenal for it to have any chance of happening
That’s what I was getting at.
Every transfer window is mental with the players they are linked with. Deluded.

Tierney to celtic has ‘not been ruled out’ by Brenda. Ffs.
I’m excited about our chances this season as I’ve not yet seen Mbappe to Ibrox ruled out by Beale…..

We seem to be getting out shit together as a club off-field

Prodan for us surely.
Jon Joe Kenny for anyone he gave a way a corner from the half way line that we scored from ffs
There’s a difference between a shite player or one who was a shite signing.
Rothen, Barton & Prodan for us were decent players but shite signings.
The other mob have had a few - Ian Wright, Gravesen & Roy Keane. None can say any of those were shite players. -
That Chinese centre half that celtic signed. Wi. Never seen again after Clyde.

Andy Robertson is high profile after playing in Scotland.
players who already had a profile would be Sauzee, Ravanelli, Victor, Stevie Archibald & Best.
Caniggia would have been a shout from Dundee had he not come to us.

All this talk about a wonder kid and spending 10 million on a player with no first team appearances…..
Not so long ago we signed an inexperienced player from Man Utd who was worth 40 million. Didn’t exactly work. Both Ibrox & the Piggery are difficult environments for young players regardless of their value.

I think his confidence went after his fuck up against them plus it’s well noted that an amicable parting is on the cards. I’ve seen nothing from him to think he’ll be a shining star and I think that’s what we need to win 57 this season which is players constantly on the top of their game.
We’d need to win 56 first.

I reckon he’s the only player we’ve had in the modern era who you could argue was the best in the world in his position

I see the comparisons between this Norwegian gimp they’ve signed and Odegaard and Haaland have started already.

Not sure where you got that from… all I said was people are well within their rights to moan.
The words ‘good chance we’ll no longer be Scotland’s most successful club’ is defeatist and giving up.

I think they have right royally fucked up.
They’ve realised that their ‘separate entity’ defence is about as reliable as Anton Rogan and gone with an attempt at damage limitation. Which I reckon they’d have gotten away with it a few years ago.
But I think the victims and survivors may just be more about the truth than the money as a direct result of how badly they have been treated by the way they have handled the whole sordid scandal.
If they’d taken responsibility years ago…..
