We are watching a team on its last legs basically. Too many of the first team are past their peak, have regressed or are just phoning in performances. Too many have stayed too long. . Many of them should have been sold/let Go/binned by now. Alfredo, Roofe,  Kent, Arfield, Davis, Kamara, Jack, Borna, Helander, McGregor ( I accept he had a great game tonight) and also for me, Tav and Goldson.

It’s grim reading. Add in a manager who’s style doesn’t suit the players or to be honest Rangers. And it’s a bit of a perfect storm. Technically we seem to have gotten worse, our passing, style and the basics are woeful. Our fitness levels now look poor as well.  We need to clear the decks and start again. But how the fuck we do that I don’t know. Will cost a fortune to replace manager and his staff and the players mentioned above, never mind get a new manager, who can do something with remaining players and probably a tiny budget.

I don’t expect us to beat Liverpool on their own patch, but do expect us to give them a game. We just seem to have regressed so badly. Actually quite depressed about the season ahead.

We should have strengthened a bit better in the summer but it takes a special type of supporter to think that punting 75% of our team would have strengthened us! This is not Championship Manager!

He missed an obvious handball in the Hearts box just a few minutes in as well. A really bizarre performance from him, was he still pished from his Friday night?

I was giving him the benefit that it hit the Hearts players shoulder. But this was also marginal

  3. The red card was so clear he couldn’t not give it. That decision aside he had a shocker.

    - Ben Davies booking was soft. First foul he’d committed. Inconsistent compared to other fouls.

    - Clear handball in middle of the park as Devlin charged down Arfield (I think)

    - Arfield goal chopped off.

    - Letting play go on when ball hit him. Only remembering the rule 5 seconds later as we break.

    - No advantage played after Sands foul. Got the booking right but shocker.

    - Arfield taken out in the middle of the park. Gave Hearts the foul. Even McCoist (who can be guilty of trying to appease) described it as an embarrassment.

Luckily there were no game changing decisions to be made outside of the red.

I’d like to believe Kilmarnock’s record on that cement pitch will carry them in good stead for tomorrow but not even going to kid myself on.

Easy win for that lot but hopefully some bad injuries on the surface.

Would be delighted if this was quoted tomorrow on the end of them dropping points

Don’t like disagreement - but I hope you are wrong.

I dont really get this logic.

They could now bring in a couple of loans, with no initial outlay and improve their squad on last year.

They work the loan system far better than us. They get the players for a year, if they are shite they can send them back. If they are a success, they have an agreed fee to buy them and keep them.

It’s not about logic. It’s fact. They’ve not freshened significantly but spent a lot.

However, I get your point as there’s still a while to go in the window and time will tell if there are other deals or loans.
