Say we did blow it all in one window, plus the extra on the wage bill, what would happen if they turned out to be overpriced and failed? Surely signing a player for 1 million, who has been our best player the past two season (along with a couple of other we have signed for buttons in comparison), and selling him for a massive profit, should be what we look for now. In today's market there is little difference between 500k-1million players and 3-5million players. A lot of the signings we have made over the past few years is enough evidence to back that.

That loss was down to how we folded after their first, not Jones scoring. Think we should wait until the end of the season before we judge what games have cost us too imo. Don't think it would've made too much difference Second half just felt like we were strolling to the end of the game. If they do fuck up when they're playing the better teams in the league away from home, then we might be left regretting that at the end of the season. It's a long shot that we will though. On the plus side our form is starting to look more impressive than it has since getting back into the prem.

The others played in squads that would still beat teams comfortably without them. Morelos puts in a shift, and is a massive difference to our performance whether he gets the goals or not. Last season, even during his dry spells we looked a lot better with him than without.
