It was always going to come down to Murty being shit and the board not investing enough and not getting blamed. A lot of us saw it coming months ago when he was appointed.
I feel sorry for the guy, he is being shafted and even though we may have a few injuries and had a good Jan transfer window it will still be Murty getting it tight if we are not second without the cup and no investment in the near future apart from season ticket sales (which will pay of debts no doubts).

Delighted we're extending the contracts of our best players, he's certainly been one this season.
In the summer we need to work hard to get rid of those not contributing to the first team, and sign those who can and will improve it further.

That was due to him being terribly out of shape and not properly managed. Clearly given that he is on less money there he needs the appearance money and goalscoring bonus he busts a gut.
Not suggesting he should be brought back for a third!!!  And yes Boyd needs to share the blame also for the shape he got himself into

At the end of the day he was not deserving of a new contract. We have had too many players in the last few years who where not consistent enough on a continuous basis. I doubt very few people will say we will miss him.

When the going gets tough he is generally hiding. He will probably get a few more goals and assists this season. His goal is probably to get a move to a championship team and earn a few more quid. We will never win the league with him in the team and his mentality. There have been more threads created slating him since he came than praising him.

With the circulation so low now the majority of the revenue will be online and i would not be surprised if they are tracking the types of stories that attract the most.....the mad thing about it is that probably the negative stories about us attract more scum to read than their own stories about their team.

Pedro stressed the need for the squad to work together in the coming months and put together a run of results to move Rangers into a better league position and progress in the League Cup.
