  1. Why would you be glad it isn't played on clay? Murray's game on that surface is superb now. That's besides the point though, very good draw for Andy, he's certainly reaping the benefits right now of his Number 2 seeding. Also I don't see any way Wawrinka makes it to the semi finals, he's on a terrible run of form.
  2. I thought that at first but it looked like he was being the intelligent one of the two but Keirnan went too deep which he seems prone to do so, can't hold his line.
  3. Why did he get outpaced? Oh that's right, he's trying to cover for Keirnan who actually played Boyd onside...Hill had played him offside.
  4. Barton off? At least he hasn't been completely annonymous unlike Rossiter tonight. If anything Barton should be back playing in his more natural position with kranjcar on next to Forrester in place of Rossiter.
  5. Good for McKay, international experience can only help him improve as a player. Wallace hasn't played anywhere near well enough to warrant inclusion in the squad. Nobody else in the squad I can think of would be considered either.
  6. It's scary to see the amount of people who have MOH in their starting line ups, he was woeful as was his decision making on Saturday. Wes Tav Kiernan Wilson Wallace Rossiter Barton Krancjar Dodoo Forrester/McKay Garner
  7. It's the blind leading the blind if you think Rossiter played well yesterday, he was rotten, as was Haliday (again). Barton responded in the 2nd half and played better than both aforementioned players. Kranjcar was a miss yesterday until he came on, Haliday in no way should be playing in a more advanced role ahead of him. The thing is we have another group of new players who are trying to gel but there is some amount of loyalty being shown to players who just haven't performed either. Wallace doesn't get a mention when defensively he's been all over the shop this season, I genuinely think he's stopped possibly 1 ball coming into the box. McKay has appeared to be well off form also and our front three ironically looked more dangerous when he was hooked and Miller, Dodoo and Forester were on. Forester however is not a winger and should be playing behind the front three. There seems to be a general hard on for MOH right now also but again yesterday he was poor when he came on. He doesn't seem to get into space readily enough for the pass and when we does he makes the wrong decision s. At 2-1 yesterday he only had to roll the ball across to Miller, and yes he did look up and see him, and it was game over...what did he do? Decided to be selfish and attempt to score himself, poor effort. Motherwell then went up the park and hit a shot that was inches over the bar. There's definitely some players who need a kick up the arse in our team right now but also some who I would question whether they can handle the pressure or not against tougher opposition this season
  8. There's nothing controversial in that mate, Haliday is awful in the further forward position
  9. Most recent performance was today, Rossiter was awful today but at least he kept going and didn't hide I suppose. Barton on the other hand more than stood up in the second half. It'll take time for any team to gel especially the engine room in midfield. If you want to have a discussion on who should drop out of midfield that should be directed at Andy Haliday as he is hopeless playing further forward.
  10. Thankfully this is no longer the case
  11. You can see them in all their glory here.... http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/tennis/37007510
  12. I have a feeling this could be 5 or 6 today... buzzing!
  13. Really the board need to clarify the position as it's all a bit of shambles really.
  14. I don't know why people are banging on about this being illegal, there's absolutely no way that both PUMA and Sports Direct would be stupid enough to do such a deal. Hence why so many retailers are today selling the strip.
  15. It wouldn't surprise me if Halliday eventually drops out of the starting line up, he'll have a lot of competition for those forward thinking midfield places this year with several options who can play there.
  16. Not a surprise, his body is starting to tell him no...I would reckon next year will be his last.
  17. You know what I'm saying though...particularly with our youth players the reactions on here are over the top at times. How many have actually went on to bigger and better things? Not many at all! You also need to have the mentality to play week in week out under big pressure and some can't just do that. There's a difference between being disappointed because you thought x y or z and the crazy reactions some have.
  18. Everyone who's crying about this doesn't see him every day in training, the manager does and that's all that matters. If he's not going to play and he feels he's can gain something from being sent on loan then that's why he's been sent to St Mirren. Good luck to him and hopefully he comes back a better player and capable of forcing his way into the side
  19. Aye because the England Under 19s and Liverpool had the same style of play too...the boy if he's any good, which it is believed he is, will be able to adapt. He hasn't even trained with us yet ffs.
