Is it me or does it seem like Glen Middleton has been at the club for an eternity! Don’t dislike him but surely the club should make a call on that one!

Of all the older players at end of their contracts he and Arfield are the two I’d keep. Great cover, quick and reliable.

Kent had a poor season, same could be said for a few key players. 8 assists in the league is very low, given our style of play. Goal numbers are criminal. But he still created big moments in games (sound like SG wi that!). Winning the league requires our better players to be on their A game far more often than they were last season. The DU game sticks in my memory as a pretty good example of our season; 2 goals up at half time, cruising, talking about making up the goal difference then we go to sleep, we were awful in the second half!! Our key players were MIA!! That’s exactly where we lost the league. Like it or not they were scoring for fun, high tempo n ruthless at times, we need to be ruthless!! Can’t remember many games where we were ruthless!! Ruthless requires Kent and our forward players to be hitting top form far more often than last season.
