  1. ffs! Might be seeing Jordan Jones a bit earlier than expected
  2. I admit I wrote the guy off, but his attitude has been first class. His performances against Hibs and celtic were fantastic. Agree with article that he's much better on the left. Despite everything, he will have a hellava fight on his hands getting a regular game when everyone is fit. You know what though, I don't think I would write the guy off again
  3. Precisely the kind of thing that has been missing over the last few years. Real men prepared to give everything for the Jersey. May God bless you big man!
  4. Tough one, but we have plenty more options now. I expect Defoe will be introduced over time to get his sharpness back. Once fully fit I think he will play 2 up in certain games depending on how much the opposition sit in.
  5. Said the exact same thing last night to my boy. It would be great if he eventually excels at a top top club......that's on the basis the wee bugger doesn't leave in January window!
  6. Great looking girl, could get a job on sky sports with all the other eye candy that know hee-haw about football
  7. VAR would probably reduce the heat the refs get but as it would get most big decisions right, but it's not without its faults either. It's maybe something for the future once the ground rules have been established but I would only accept it if it was for all games in the league and the same rules for everyone.
  8. Like I say plastic pitches, no goa-line tech. 3 men and a dug at the games, refs getting hounded. Aye, you would be hard pushed to class it a backwater.
  9. Don't need to worry about VAR here. No money for extra tech and Var refs. Would need to be in all games in league for parity. Still no goaline technology, and plastic pitches aplenty. We are some way off Var.
  10. We used to win leagues with Chris Burke, Stephen Hughes, Bob Malcolm etc in the team. Pretty sure we can carry the odd player
  11. I think his contract is up end of season and he could be sign for another club now. Maybe Stevie wants to see if worth taking him on for another season or so? We would still be due a development fee if he leaves but he might do next season if Laffery goes.
  12. Would put Halliday ahead of Flanagan but think BB's delivery is so good that it puts him above Andy. Halliday is versatile and will play a decent number of games but he shouldn'tve in the starting 11 if everyone is fit. I don't want to list Andy's deficiencies and I'm happy he has an influence in the dressing room..
  13. Halliday has done extremely well recently but he is a squad player at best. Might sound harsh but we need better to win silverware Decent back up, but no more than that. If we want to be the best them we need to play our best players. No doubting his work rate or endeavour but quality counts too.
  14. Good that we are bringing tried and tested in our League on a permanent contract for zip. If all goes well we can get a couple years of sterling service then move one or both on for a tidy fee as they are young enough. I like that we are pushing to nick the title this season with experience in short term loans, but at the same time building a younger squad for the future. 2 excellent transfer windows so far. Can't wait till see us after 3 or 4 windows!!!
  15. Ha ha. Didn't see that bit. He did sound sincere about it though!
  16. Had my doubts about Jim recently, but I think he's redeemed himself over this!!
  17. Our continued existence consumes their every thought. Gubbing them last week has really fucked them up. Their wee fantasy scenario is unravelling in front of their eyes. 55 will end their sad wee world.
  18. It's our stadium and its our ball. If we want to cut their allocation for them being wee fannies then it's up to us.....'Ma baw!!'
  19. Aw the best TC and all the other bears on the planet - past and present🙏
  20. Big advantage having bulk of tickets with Timmy tucked up in the corner. Must be intimidating for their keeper and defence now that there are bears screaming at them behind both goals now. Must have felt like a cauldron to them both off and on the field and that's the way it should be. I want teams to dread coming to Ibrox.
  21. I would expect most English people to prefer us (The quintessential British Club) over the ira loving tramps. Simon Jordan is great radio, Very honest and knowledgeable plus seems to have a soft spot for us. Not a bad combination!
  22. Starting to feel a bit like the way Duncan Ferguson was hounded out of Rangers. Unfair to scrutinise every incident in every game for only one player. I think it's time we played the racism card so they back off him and give the lad a break.
  23. After yesterday's disgrace i wouldn't have it during a game against them. They can't be trusted to respect it and others in our support react to it. We shouldn't make that mistake again as its only fair to the friends & families that we prevent a repeat of that. If we had it before or after their game we could do it justice. Maybe the fixtures in the future will see us at the piggery for the xmas/new year fixture? It might be seen as letting them get their way, but it's not about them it's about the 66 and the respect they deserve.
  24. Christie made a few fouls which didn't feature either
  25. Gubbing them is a major step forward in my view. Not so much the result but the manner in which it was done. Beating them was one of the measures I had in mind pre-season to show that we are going on the right direction. A good European run was another, and closing the gap on them in the League. Fair to say he has achieved everything we could realistically expect so far with the budget he's had. Winning the Scottish Cup would make for a great first season. Got to say capturing the League title this season would exceed expectation but I would certainly take it!!
