Yeah it's not the best but we are still in touch with leaders. I think that the extra Euro games have taken their toll on the squad. The sheep and killie haven't had to worry which is why they are right up there atm. I expect that we will win more games this 2nd part of the season and the others bar celtic will fall back. Time will tell I guess but I wouldnt be rushing to do anything right now.

And beating them too which was a must. The other difference is we haven't been hammered in any game results-wise. We took a few heavy beatings under Warbs & Pedro so we have been stronger there.

Some good points made. Also think Killie are terrible to watch (maybe the pitch) but it tends to suit their style

Ffs, after the old firm game he was a messiah. Now he's a dud 90 mins later. The truth is somewhere in the middle. He is young Manager learning his trade. He will undoubtedly make mistakes (and has done). But he has a winner's mentality and a status that can attract players that otherwise wouldn't come. We have no money for a Laudrup or a Gascoigne, but we make the same demands and expect the same results from much lesser players. Its a cup final to all the other teams playing us but nowadays there is barely a difference in quality between us and the rest. Everyone's disappointed after last night, but we can't keep changing Managers every time we lose a game.

Killie away is tough fixture. Plenty of points will be spilt there by the other top teams.

Not a tactical expert but think the system last night needs quicker, more mobile centre halfs. With narrower set up it meant the CD were being dragged out to the wing to cover full backs. (No candieas/ kent to cover) Obviously cost Macaulay a booking initially then the 2nd goal he couldn't make a challenge. Would only use 442 (diamond) against diddy teams at home as we are going to get done on the flanks when we lose possession upfield. Big lumbering defenders one vs one with winger isn't going to end well.

Think he did the rising stars draw at half time recently. Actually forgot all about him. No idea what he's been up to in the past 15 years or whatever it's been. However , he must have took a few knocks in the head if he thinks lennon is a good guy. Never knew who si ferry was until I saw him interview Windass. Not exactly Parky but seems a decent enough chap that the players seem to like.

He got clipped in a challenge and slapped the turf about 20 times. Earlier on Mccrorie got caught a sore one but carried on like nothing happened - that's the difference. A blind man can see that some players are up for the fight and others don't fancy it. Let's just see how the rest of the season goes to see which one of us is talking shite.

BB is starting to frustrate me to the point that I am close to preferring Halliday to him at left back. He should be a stick on, but his apparent lack of heart is troubling. I really hope that hin and his mate Grezda start to man up and adapt to a more physical game here.

Got a Tim at work who always sends a daft wee email after the old firm game. Barely talk to the wank but he always copies me in. Guess what?, No email this time! I was tempted to send him something but I will wait for the title. Funny thing is he's been in a foul mood since we came back from break. I am pretty sure it's cos of the football. They think they are entitled to beat us now. We are the Champs in waiting and will always be number one around here. The fallout will be unreal when we finally do it again........I can't wait!

I think If we keep winning they will crack. If we win next 5 games they will cave in and we will win the league. We had them worried last year until we lost our chance at Ibrox and then folded. We are better now and they are worse. We can do it if we keep the pressure on, they are there for the taking.

I really enjoyed that season he had in the Championship. Cup semi and the win against hibs with the late Waggy strike around Xmas particular highlights. Our style of play was great to watch at times and the signing of Barton once back in the Prem made sense on paper to toughen up midfield/ improve balance and give us a ball winner. We did struggle to break down teams towards the end of the Championship season. He did add a bit more skill and craft with big niko the following season, but again it didn't pay off. The obvious flaw was the lack of plan B. I remember Burnley played a high press against us in a preseason game and exposed our deficiencies. Hearts and others did the same and we never really found a solution to it. Got to say he was a decent man. I remember him going to fans funerals and being a really respectful fella. To be fair to him he got us out the Championship and probably didn't have the budget of others. Definitely not our worst Manager, that's for sure.

HDecent shout. I don't think he's gonna get much game time anyway. He's got the engine and I'm sure his tackling and crossing would get better with practice. Mind Ryan Jack played right back for Scotland so anything's possible. Decent all round player with a bit of work could be a more than able deputy for the Tav man.

Possibly jumping the gun here, but I will anyway. Grezda appears to be one of these players that will always have an excuse not to play. Compare to Goldson who wanted to play on after a sore one and was desperate to play the old firm. If that was Grezda he would likely be on the treatment table till Easter. Just got a bad feeling about him. Hopefully he proves me wrong.
