It's done and dusted now. If they lost the plot after the celtic game I can understand but if it was Infront of the squad about the manager and he was there I can see the problem . However a strong manager would have dealt with it. Miller's time was up but Wallace could still be used as back up LB, we have no other. If he is a bad influence then get rid of him but I have never thought of him in those terms.

Fair point. We might get a good pre season game before the EPL starts. We could postpone a league game just like celtic have done and get us in some decent money.

An ok fixture to start . None of the big EPL teams will be set up for that .At that stage of pre season you don't want a really difficult starting game where you get hammered. It would be good to get a big name just before the start but the big EPL teams tend to have tours abroad to make some money . Hopefully we go something similar next year.

celtic will strengthen of that there is no doubt and a lot will depend on how well they do that. Frankly the celtic team that beat us last season was not a great one and if we make decent signings ( and that's a big if given recent transfer windows ) it should be close.

Look addiction is a horrible thing. The guy needs help and I hope he gets it and we help him. I would suspect that we will sort out his contract but treat him properly,that's the Rangers way.

If the article is correct then he must resign . The conflict of interest is huge and the fact that he did not disclose it is astonishing. In corporate governance terms this is beyond the pale. If anyone involved in appointing him knew this they should be forced to resign themselves. Their is no way the SPFL board can claim they are impartial with this situation in place.

The role will probably suit him . He is a Rangers legend ,meeting the fans and chatting to them he will be fine. No disrespect to him but he is not the brightest lightbulb in the factory and that's why Clyde have him on. In that sphere he is just not up to it. Do you honestly think Clyde would employ any ex Rangers player who is sharp enough and quick witted enough to defend us on a live programme.

I have been disappointed by his performances this season but it would be interesting to see how he performs with our new manager in charge and hopefully some decent players around him.

Time will tell, but I can't see our manager signing up if did not get assistances on a budget that he felt would give us a decent chance of winning the league.

I would have thought his role in transfers is fairly clear. If the managers says he needs say a CB . The DoF and his team identify CBs . The DoF then says we can get certain CBs but they will cost x in wages and y in transfer fees. The manager then decides if he wants them at that figure. Or if the Manager knows himself he wants a certain CB .The DoF goes out sorts a deal and tells the manager what it will cost in wages and fees and again the manager decides if it's worth it. The manager will know is overall budget. Where problems can arise is if the DoF and his team don't identify players we can afford.

This looks like the start of a fight back by Rangers after the SFA decided to go ahead with their investigation into our European license. I would not be surprised if we had more information available to us and are holding it back for the moment. This is going to go on for a while and if the new Chief Exc does not get it right then he will not be there for long.

Another one who was the cause of a lot of our problems. However I suspect he will have organised a good contract with a substantial payoff clause.

You are perfectly correct ,he predicted big problems on the way the club was run by SDM and he was correct. He was pretty much stitched up by the club. SDM did not like criticism.
