I know what you're saying and it's hard to disagree but we could still end the season with 100 points, that requires beating the tims twice and while it might be unlikely you just never know, if that happened and we lost the League with 100 points it would be ultra harsh to be critical of 14 dropped points.
 
The tims are just so strong right now domestically we basically need to be perfect to be better than them, as critical as I am of the players and management, that's some amount of pressure 
 
Need to hope our recruitment is better in the summer and they lose two or three of their guaranteed starters, even if they get their recruitment right again I'd be surprised if they got anyone as good as Carter-Vickers and Hatate

Mate you've lost the plot here big time, no-one, absolutely nobody would rather have a high earner sitting in the treatment room but you can't just get rid of them, it's not that simple and you can't just pay them off, not unlesd you're willing to pay up the remainder of their entire contract.

That's just no how it works bud, you surely know this, there would be ramifications for releasing this info early, fan media rely on subscriptions and if they get black balled from the club their subscribers will have no reason to subscribe.
 
Plus as gutting as this news is, what difference does it make to us when what time we find out? He's out until July/August at least, if we found that out at midday or midnight it won't change anything.

I'm not disagreeing with your OP but the whole "people were convinced we'd give them a doing" part, I don't know anyone who was genuinely confident heading into yesterday'a game, posts on social media or fans forums can be a bit skewed to what they tell you to your face.

Yeah agree, you're think a CB he had coached for four years and had just led his club to a European final would be an obvious target, particularly when he was on a free, the fact he wasn't even remotely interested perhaps tells us how these players are viewed at in that environment.

I wouldn't say Maeda is a better footballer, neither is Abada but they are both more affective than Kent.
 
Abada has 10 goals and 11 assists
Maeda has 9 goals and 8 assists
Kent has 3 goals and 8 assists
 
Kent is our first choice go to guy who it's unthinkable for him to be dropped while those two seem to be in and out their team for decent periods at a time.

Unfortunately there's a list of better players than Sakala at Rangers that you could also say that about too which is the biggest problem we face, our players just aren't good enough to be better than the team we need to be better than.

Whether we agree with him starting or not, I think you're right about having him on so late, celtic were dropping deeper and deeper as the second half wore on and all that meant was there was less space for Sakala to actually run into, so his only real tangible attribute was already rendered useless.
 
I'd have brought on Hagi too around the 70th minute, if Beale didn't think he was capable of playing possibly 50 minutes of football then fine but deal with that during extra time, at least give yourself the best chance of getting there.

Totally agree. I just watched the game for the first time and the simple truth is that he cannot shoot - or at least, his shooting is far below the required standard. Pace to burn and can beat a man on his day, but can't finish. I know Hagi is slow but as that game panned out we would have been better off with him up top and not Fashion - simply because he wouldn't have missed the basic chances.

A few months ago I wanted Sakala in the team, no as any long term solution but I just felt that we needed some honest graft on the park, someone you know would try their best and not take the huff when anything goes against him/us, we've more than steadied the ship now domestically, I think it's time to move on from seeing him as someone who can realistically start games for us again.

Unfortunately there's a list of better players than Sakala at Rangers that you could also say that about too which is the biggest problem we face, our players just aren't good enough to be better than the team we need to be better than.

If a linesman got injured/took unwell at Ibrox and they asked if there was any officials would you be impartial? 

As far as the SFA/SPFL are concerned it's a free for all up here, they can't do anything about anything that is said or sung, the police can but the football authorities can't.
