I'll wait to judge the players who left at the end of the season, it's pretty common for a player to go to a new club and do really well straight away, will be interesting to see if these guys can maintain it. Also should be remembered that the English Championship is not that good a league. Some players leave Scotland and struggle in that league but a lot of them look like world beaters when in reality they are not that good. There was a boy who played for Sunderland and then for them up here on loan who was terrible up here. Can't mind his name but he was a bit lanky striker. Anyway he absolutely beasted the Championship, top scorer player of the year the lot.

This. I think some people are missing the point that (it hasn't been reported anyway) TLB has actually made a complaint. Don't think anyone can blame him for the stupidity of posting that online, can only get you in bother. In fact I don't even think his name should be allowed to grace the Bears Den, other than on the relevant match thread. could be young lads right enough and I'm forever saying thank fuck social media, this countries stupid politically correct rules, YouTube etc etc weren't prevalent when I was a teenager. Lee, in my opinion, gets a bit of an easier ride and I'm always sympathetic in my view of him because he showed he is a true Ranger by staying with us all the way through the difficult years (still ongoing) and, again just my opinion, should be viewed as one of the all time legends of this club for that. However, if we had signed him just last summer and he gave the sort of inconsistent displays he can be guilty of I fear that I, like others, would be very worried about that position. Most people only look at Tav being the problem but I think both players are of a similar level.

Daft thing for DK to say and I don't agree that he is winding them up. The moving to England line makes sense but we didn't move to England and play in the same country so it, as someone else said earlier, is actually the kind of shite I expect from them.

I really hate how some folk talk about our players. Waghorn is not great at this level but we loved him last season and to call him a piece of shit is, in my opinion, out of order. I've only read the first page of this thread but I just want to play devils advocate a bit. Firstly I'm sure there was a reason for this clause being in McCoists contract, possibly due to the fact that he had a large contract with BBC and to step away from that full time he needed some assurances. My guess is that his big clause was probably to match that amount of money. Secondly, does anyone think (regardless of the clause) that we were not going to make McCoist the manager? It was clear as day. Lastly, can someone tell me the name of a player who has played for this club for nothing and/or refused a contract and asked for less money in the last 30 years or so?

The worst thing about it is that some of these young lads 15-16 yr olds are getting used to dross. Nothing to do with the video but it's a concern that our next generation of fans won't know the standards.

If it's ok for Aberdeen to announce when they sign players from ICT then they can't have any complaints if we do the same.
