I heard at the time he was wanting a wage increase. I remember questioning a poster on here when they were talking about him getting a renewal on reduced wages. I think I said something like "I'm not so sure he'll be on a reduced wage".
Could have been @BlueSuedeSambas
He was after a 2 year deal on £38k a week. Was told 1 year @ £19k (apparently his current wage) with another year if conditions were met.
You want to have seen what kent apparently wanted, but its at a level where it was only ever gonnae be knocked back

If just for temporary manager I’d for for wee Neil McCann - many will disagree but he has the potential to galvanise the club and I think gets the issues here (lack of system, poor coaching) - and actually spend time luring a decent candidate instead of appointing the first buzz word speaking name that comes to mind. Our managerial recruitment, Gerrard excepted (who is not great all told, but very important in 55 season) over the last 10-12 years had been abysmal.
Said for a while, mccanns dundee team were a good football side but couldnt finish. Sounds familiar

Jack was a joke today, couldn't make simple 10 yard passes and looked like he was running through mud.
Infuriating watching these imposters who let us down time and time again start these games.
He was looking for £38k per week and a 2 year deal at his last renewal

Honestly, in this case i picked barasic as I know what car he drives having seen him pulling up at the stadium. No singling out of borna, roofe has an RS6 etc
Basically the point is, NO HUNGER IN PARADISE. they get away with the prize and we are told:
Its too early in the season
Its too late in the season
They are tired
They are not sharp
All while we pay through the nose and bisgrove doubles prices

How is the hate for Barisic so bad that he's getting it in the neck in a game he didn't even play in?
Your overall point is valid though and I agree with it but it boils my piss how often Barisic is singled out for negativity when there are others in the team FAR more deserving of criticism.
Honestly, in this case i picked barasic as I know what car he drives having seen him pulling up at the stadium. No singling out of borna, roofe has an RS6 etc

And that’s the problem with our board. No matter what we keep coming back and so they think all’s well. It fucking isn’t.
Honestly mate, im out.
All joking aside and no bullshit, i have a boy who has a football team trip coming up and a daughter who has dance/horse riding/rollerskating lessons. Im no a daft 23 year old who will buy any old shite the club throws at him anymore. I have other things that suffer for me to follow us and when the team dial in a performance like that then am i fuck paying the guts of £60 for tickets vs Aris. They can fuck off. I spent X in the covid season to keep my season tickets while the team agreed to "defer" money owed to them. I got fuck all, they never missed a beat.
Im sitting here fucking raging about todays defeat listening to my mrs and daughter discussing what fuckin roller boots she can "afford".
Tav is cutting about in a lambo and barasic in a mclaren while dialling in shite like that today.
Raging doesnt even scratch the surface mate

It's not just a tarrier comment. It's an ex tarrier player phrase tthat some repeat as gospel.
I can understand why some don't rate Tav. Fair enough. It's all about opinions.
Show some imagination though. Put thinks in your own words. Don't plagiarise a cunt like Sutton and pass it off as your own.
Copying his homework makes you look like him imo.
Said it before, Tav is a problem. Weak mentality, shitey attitude. Never a rangers captain imo

He should still have the ability as a centre midfielder to get the ball under control, take some responsibility, turn round and get him up the pitch
You’re currently getting him taking the ball off the defence just to give it back while absolutely hiding in the middle of the park. Give you or me his jersey and we could do what he’s doing
Good point, well made 😀

3 of the back 4 have had their day. I like Tav but we need to change that defence wholesale.
We also bypass the midfield with our passing. Long diagonals to the channel is cutting out arguably our strongest part of the pitch.
We're an utter shambles at the moment and it lies squarely at the foot of the manager.
I personally think goldson gets to fuck and we have half a chance if we get a basic no nonsense CB in. Half of the "missing out the midfield" is due to his 60 yard hollywood passes, which most of bounce out of play if we are honest.

A good player would stand out as a saviour in this team. He’s blending in with the dross, if anything he’s a major part of the problem
Fair play, i dont think hes the problem but my opinion

Even Chris Sutton can Google the dictionary.
Kinda lost on this one tbh.
Its either,
•Am i chris sutton?
•is @Jimbeamjunior chris sutton
Or
• james tavernier fits the dictionary description of a serial loser?
not withstanding the manky tarriers comments, tav is a serial loser by definition

A cut above that rest at what? 5 yard passes back to Goldson and Souttar? Giving away fouls because he’s chasing shadows in midfield?
That from him today every bit as bad as Lundstram and Kamara at Hampden but the future Chelsea midfielder escapes the same criticism
When the team are playing well he is an expansive, and possibly even as far as, a cultured midfielder. With ryan jack and cantwell battering about as if they have the skitters hes a shadow of the player he can be.

You can't bring yourself to type his name.
Chris Sutton called Tav a serial loser Jim and you have stolen his patter. Sutton is a very low benchmark.
You both hate Tav right enough, so fair enough. Besties!

Most worrying thing for me is that he goes in to hiding when going gets tough. We need guys that roll up the sleeves. He's a bully. Will only see anything decent from him when the odds are in his favour.
Useless.
Think hes far from useless. Hes a cut above the rest of the shite around him and contrary to the myth good players can play anywhere, they still need quality around them, either that or they retreat into their shell

Davies is a player who’s been made to be worse than he is. Was doing fine til that horrific mistake and parkhead.
Its the usual snowball social media affect where people just jump on it and desperate for him to leave cos a few others have said it.
No mate, hes duff.

Perfect time to do it during a break.
Say it till he’s eventually gone but there isn’t one doubt in my mind a more attack minded manager who has experience winning shiny trophies gets 10x more out this team than he currently does.
The players look completely lost and uncomfortable in every single position.
Respectfull disagree. We have forward players who are shot shy and a back 4 that a lawyer couldnt defend under the trades descriptions act.
-
No chance, hes fucked all the money on shite and we are stuck with him for the foreseeable

Wild thread.
I like Souttar but he’s arguably at fault for 3 out of the first 4 goals, where’s his thread OP?
Caught under the first and should have attacked it, allowed his man to run off him for the second, and Veerman’s shot goes through his legs for the 4th.
To be fair mate, souttar didnt cover himself in glory, but there has been a constant in the defense for going on 4 years now and its goldson. He appears to be immune to any criticism and every one else appears to be at fault. Hes supposed to be the rock the team is built on, and in my opinion, and it would be good to hear yours, hes a bombscare.
He's effe ambrose eithout the smile

Kent apparently "demanded" £50k a week but everyone knew that it was unrealistic, by the terms of his contract a figure had to be supplied
