Knowing my dad he'll either think that their tims at it or deserve a bit of a kick up the arse to not behave in such ways. 
But personally I would have wanted the admins to deal with it on here and sice no one reported it I don't think they can be faulted

many have and did post displeasure.  only one that I can see has asked to try and find names, addressess and workplaces of fellow bears.
 
the two things are not comparable in the slightest, I get you are defending your dad, but it's really not something that can be defended.  at all.

My dads opinions on people who post sick stuff about disabled kids are his own and tbh I think many most would express severe displeasure with those posts.

See where I come from, people taking the piss out a disabled child would end up getting hurt, and quite rightly so, fucking wankers would deserve it as well. What kind of sick fuckers make pics like on here and call a disabled child a mongo etc purely because he supports Celtic.
Is it good PR by Celtic, of course it is, but doesn't take away from the obvious pleasure that poor wee man gets which is much more important. Have a go at Celtic, not the child ffs!
And i'll tell you this, if my wee daughter was disabled, the smile of her face that that wee lad gets from going supporting his team, and obvious pleasure when meeting players etc would far, far override any thought I had he was being exploited. I wouldn't think that anyway, I'd be more than happy that my child was getting so much pleasure from something, I don't think I'd understand any parent who wouldn't, and from a team I already support if it was Rangers doing it. My child being happy would and is the most important thing to me.
I mean, give Celtic abuse all you want if you think they are exploiting him, but to mock and take the piss out of a disabled child, what sort of sick fuckers are you!!
Pathetic and embarrassing, and I'm very happy to say if anyone started mocking a poor wee disabled child in my or my mates company, they'd end up with a sore jaw at the very least. I really don't understand anyone who would find mocking a disabled child funny or indeed acceptable at all.

Also, anyone who thinks sick stuff like abusing a disabled child wasn't going to get picked up on by the taigs reading this forum, and them running with it to try to damage us is naive in the extreme. 
Houston's a Wanker for highlighting it as well, though I think that is more of a damage limitation exercise, as this was always going to get picked up on by the taigs straight away, and anyone who thinks it hadn't been already, is even more naive. 
The whole thing is embarrassing and very predictable how it would end up. I'm not going to say anymore about it, head shaking stuff.

With you 100%.The actual posts are out of order.I have worked wth kids with learning disabilities and they totally amazed me with their spirit and love of life.Posts say more about the posters mentality TBH and glad DBBTB explained very clearly why they were not picked up.The moderators have a very tough job to do and do it rather well to be fair.
That said it's not up to anyone in this country to name and shame especially on social forums where anyone can post.Its especially galling when it's one of our so called own!For this reason we won't be back in the pub either.Wonder how much business this will cost them as the Facebook super fans don't generally make it anywhere near any games,whereas posters on here generally do especially at home.

I'm sure 99% of people who have made a joke regarding wee Jay don't hate the wee boy FFS. He's seen it as a way to hammer RM and get a few internet likes from terriers. To think I used to stick up for the dick on here 

trying to find other bears addresses publicly is one of the most horrible things I have seen today, and I include the wee jay posts in that.
Trying to name, shame, DOX, and get other bears sacked, over fucking posts on an internet forum, is way way worse than a couple of off taste, offensive posts.

I've got a disabled daughter so don't pull that fucking card. Your dad maybe was upset but its not right threatening peoples livelihoods. By doing that I hope his goes down the fucking pan because in one sentence he's just lost a load of custom. He was wanting people named in public, it should be that cunt Houston that is hounded because he was the one that made it public, like our mods and admins have said if someone had reported it they would have taken it down. I'm sure you must have seen some of the comments on here so why didn't you report them if they offended you. Houston, your da and the rest of the hangers on want the publicity for themselves more than anything. If they were decent folk they would have contacted admin rather than going public. And your da had upset a lot of people, he's thick as fuck cos he wanted peoples names and places of work when everyone knows his.

I don't know what he's said, but tbh anyone abusing disabled kids is bang out of order and they posts are generally crossing the line. 
I also think Craig posting this was the wrong way to handle it and it should have been reported on here. It's bad publicity that didn't need to happen. 
I haven't spoken to my dad about this as he's at a funeral but as someone who has a disabled nephew I can understand why he would find it upsetting. 
I actually don't mind gallows humour but anyone posting abuse at that kid needs their heads checked as it's amunition for those that hate us 

I don't think there's one moderator or 'monitor' who has said they think the posts should have remained public.
To a man we have acknowledged that had we seen them, or had our attention been drawn to them through reporting, then they would absolutely have been removed. However due to the reasons already covered by Badger - the time of year meaning we were less active, the sheer number of posts that there are per day, the speed at which threads move especially after a game like the Old Firm and the fact they weren't reported at all - we missed them and unfortunately these things happen from time to time because nobody is perfect.
I've never involved myself in all the boardroom and fan group type stuff so I can't tell you why there appears to be so much bad blood among certain groups but to me this whole issue is something that could have been resolved with some direct communication but now it has become a far bigger issue than it ever needed to be.

The comments were disgusting tbh but, as it has already been mentioned in the thread, they could have been reported.
Sharing them on his Facebook page is just another attempt at trying to make himself look like some sort of hero and the gullible bastards that follow his page are all sucking it up as usual. 
A man who has followed Celtic abroad to watch them playing in the Champions league and who is now trawling Rangers forums and posting screenshots of offensive comments on his Facebook to "shame" the posters. And still some believe he's actually a Rangers fan.

The posts are in bad taste. We would probably remove them if we seen them. But they were posted over the New Year period - I maybe only read 20-25% of threads posted on here - and less over the festive period.
However, if it offends people there is a report button to highlight inappropriate content - Nobody reported it.
There are also email address and PM's that can be sent - Nobody sent these.

If content is reported somebody from the mod team will nearly always deal with it if there is a genuine reason to deal with it. As soon as something is reported, every one of the mod team gets a notification the next time they log in, or with the next page load if they are currently logged in.
Seeing this, doing nothing, then posting it on a popular facebook account to shame our own, perhaps even draw police attention, maybe isn't what I would do as a first step, and as an admin.... the first time I ever seen these posts was on the SOS facebook account.
