He locked his twitter after being called out for saying he would apologise if the video of our players singing about the Pope was fake. After the police investigated and confirmed there was no criminality, he refused to do so and just locked his account instead.

He quite literally only unlocked it on Sunday to start tweeting about Rangers. He's bitter and absolutely obsessed. I cant take someone like that seriously when it comes to claims of being concerned about sectarianism, no matter what side of the aisle they're on.

Im so sad that we have upset James 😀..

  2. Sheffield Utd management rated him highly, and were publicly very disappointed when he chose to run down his contract. Steven Gerrard, one of the best midfielders in the world in his day, also rates him.

He'll be disappointed with the start he's made but I suspect he'll get over it.

My post was more about the timing of the negative headlines for this massive match which comes across as wanting us to fail whereas sport’s writers should be writing Scottish football up to encouragement the sport but then put the boot in should a team fail.

Well its really up to these players to prove otherwise..

Is anyone surprised? Although his raise through the ranks is suspect, nothing can be done until he fails a test.

A lot of sports can't. It seems the cheats are way in front of testing at the moment. At least with cycling they have passports so abnormal levels show.

There's strong arguments for keeping samples for major event winners for 20 years or so to give science a chance to catch up with the cheats. It would also lend validation to truly exceptional performances, which pretty much everyone assumes must be down to drugs these days.

  5. The McCarthy signing is an odd one. He clearly wants to play for them, and I doubt whether there would be many other interested parties. They are desperately short of players, so why not get this done a month ago?...

Strange things going on over there.
