But like I said, he put in about the only quality ball in the box all day and it led to the goal. I'd take that over whatever Waghorn/MacKay/anyone else who started done.

Something I don't understand is how we seemed to have found a system that worked vs Aberdeen, Hearts etc when we were more direct and when on the little winning run but yet we seem to have gone back to the old way that we played before. How can you find a successful way of playing and then change it back to a style that never worked before. I find it baffling.

I suppose it's a valid worry but there's no evidence he would waste it until he's given some real money to spend. The players he's brought in have been shit, I agree, but that's what you get with loans and free transfers. For me he needs some real money to spend to see what he's made of. It's a gamble but it would be a gamble with anyone else given we don't have much at the moment.

Obviously this team are miles ahead of us and you expect them to win this and look the part but it really does highlight our lack of quality.
Glad to see us still trying to pass the ball though. That's at least encouraging. Just a shame we have no cutting edge or quality at the final ball.
Tavernier and Halliday are horrific though.
