  1. I agree with you there. Warburton is more than capable of winning 3-4 league titles and at least a Europa league with us. I think some continental silverware is definitely on his agenda but he's too clever to come out and say it publicly, knowing the likely mhedia reaction. Good times ahead Bears. Good times!
  2. I'd be happy with the quadruple but would be disappointed if we didn't lift the UEFA Super Cup as well. Will set us up nicely for our hattrick of Champions League wins. Seriously though, 55 and still in Europe after Xmas would be great.
  3. Tbh I think a lot of their own are getting fed up with it. They're making themselves look even more ridiculous than usual. A couple of years down the line and this obsessive, deranged behaviour could start to cause a real rift among them. Fingers crossed
  4. Remember totally losing it with a part time Bear who said something to the effect of "we'll never see anything like this again in our lifetimes". What!?? F**k off, we're Rangers ya tit, we could win the UEFA cup 3 times in the next ten years! Little did I know what was in front of us. But I still say that we could lift 3 European titles in the next decade
  5. Couple of days ago I would have said no but now......a qualified yes. He might be a walloper but if Warbs believes he can get the best out of him then I'll trust his judgement. As for him being a Provo Princess, well is he really, how deep does it go? If he signs for us he might well end up with leaving Ibrox in a couple of years with King Billy tattooed on his chest
  6. Superb! Can't lose with this one. If he's crap, aw well, not big money so ho hum. If he's decent, we keep him for 4-5 years and get a few million for him. If he's as good as he supposed to be, a couple of seasons with us then back to England for ridiculous amount. This Friday the 13th just keeps getting better and better
  7. After the last few years it has been magic! I'm looking forward to next season. We have had our times of struggle, now the good times are back. We welcome the chase.
  8. Forgot some good ones. Van Bronckhorst, Trevor Steven etc
  9. Only boys ye have seen play? Right- Goalkeepers: Andy Goram, Chris Woods, Stefan Klos. Defenders: Richard Gough, Terry Butcher, Alec Cleland, David Weir, Sasa Papac, Gary Stevens, Jimmy Nicholl. Midfielders: Jorg Albertz, Paul Gascoigne, Ray Wilkins, Neil McCann, Ian Durrant, Ronald De Boer, Ian Ferguson, Pieter Huistra. Forwards: Mark Hateley, Michael Mols, Davie Cooper, Brian Laudrup, Gordon Durie.
  10. I honestly believe the Colonials don't really understand football. Or rounders. They don't even call them by the right names.
  11. Could be worse. I've just got my appointment in for the snip. Few days after the cup final. Safe to say I'm not exactly looking forward to it.
  12. I don't "hate" Linfield. I don't even dislike them that much. There are only two clubs in the Irish league that I hate. The scumbags from solitude and the Ballymena Spoonburners. You're a touchy little fella aren't ye?
  13. Lolz. Just a wee good natured dig. There are Rangers men in Ulster that support other clubs besides Linfield ye know. Anyway, I'm a Bear first and foremost. Northern Ireland 2nd and the Bannsiders a distant third. So away and take yer face for a shite ya greetin hoor ye. Shinner my balls!
  14. Top division of 18 clubs worked well enough for donkey's years. Always going to be meaningless games. The English seem to do alright with their 20 team top division. There is the exact same debate about the NI league. Except it's not a debate because every supporter in the country wants to go back to a 16 strong league.
  15. Yup. Even 18 clubs. 34 league games. And if the league was restructured now, the Spoonburners would get it tight from everyone else for no being able to get promoted fair and square! I can't see a downside.
  16. Graffiti can be a work of genius in the right place at the right time. Like the wee guy from the Shankill who went over to the Falls Rd on the day of Bobby Sands funeral and sprayed up "We will never forget you Jimmy Sands" Genius!
  17. Falkirk. And I've only been there once.
  18. How the hell are Manchester Celtic even anywhere near the top 4? They are a hollow shell of a team. Dour, passionless, negative, unimaginative and tortuous on the ball. They remind me of Nottingham Forest in the last few years under Clough. Unfortunately I don't think the pride of Devon will fall as far as Forest.
  19. I usually don't want to see State Sponsored FC doing well but with Healey as their boss I'm actually hoping they win the league title next season. As for the Irish cup, that's Coleraine's next year ? (aye right). Glenavon are a decent side but terribly inconsistent. The elbowing and grabbing are typical though. At least it was Glenavon that lifted the cup, not the league's token republicans Chickenville. Watched it on TV. Wasn't a bad game for a cup final.
  20. High praise from Bilic. Nothing we didn't know already but good to hear from someone like Bilic, who IMO has a big career ahead of him.
  21. Glenavon's away strip is nice, we should have something similar for next season
  22. As much as I eh, "dislike" Linfield, I wish Sir David and his team luck for the final. He's staunch as f**k. From a staunch wee village. Btw, you'll be able to get BBC NI in Mainland UK if you turn yer Sky to something like channel 971. Somewhere near that on Free sat as well. You're welcome. ?
