  1. That's actually a really good shout mate.
  2. Love the UBs. Give them whatever they want. And put them in charge of the club's PR while you're at it. There'd be no fucking apology to that weasel Clark for a start.
  3. My head says no chance BUT...it's all small margins either way. If we had beaten St Johnstone like we should have and Brown hadn't got that very late winner against Killie then we would be at just 4 points behind NOW and that would be a MUCH more optimistic outlook. I want to believe!
  4. Honestly can't decide if this is fucking awful or pure genius. The more wine I drink the more I'm leaning towards genius to be fair
  5. Any bang average manager could get the scum over the line this season. What's hard to swallow is the chances we've had and failed to take. Never thought at start of season we could realistically get 55 this time but actually we fucking could have.
  6. Yeah probably fair comment tbh. I find him frustrating because he's proved many times that he's capable of making fantastic runs and stretching the opposition so that we dominate. But then he'll have games where he's completely off the pace, getting his pockets picked all too easily and unable to find his range. If Tav brought his "A" game more often I'd be a fan. As a counter argument re Halliday, I think if he'd started with us this season he'd be getting praised to high heaven.
  7. Our current captain has good games and bad games and is still guilty of absolute howlers. He does not imo have the backbone and leadership necessary on the pitch. The "staunch as fuck" comment was tongue-in-cheek. Of course the performance on the pitch is the priority but it DOES make a difference in this modern age having players who actually care about the shirt (as well as their career prospects, wages etc)
  8. Could you ever in your wildest dreams imagine this great man bleating about a wee bit of name-calling from the stands during a match?
  9. Consistently brilliant this season. Anyone who thinks he's not.. a. good enough to start every week in an SPL winning Rangers side b. worthy of the armband c. staunch as fuck ...needs to re-evaluate!
  10. Completely agree mate. Along with "repeat a lie often enough and it becomes the truth". In this case, the lie that "Rangers fans are all aggressive bigots and a disgrace to Scotland" is fast becoming the accepted truth in this country.
  11. I'm guessing not the first time you've had to hide in a desperate cold sweat from a religious body eh Brenda?
  12. I get the sentiment but Alfredo's just doing the job he's paid to do and will move on because it benefits him financially. It's us fans who have stuck by the club through 7 years of absolute hell being constantly goaded by the scum who actually deserve the next title.
  13. It's a completely different level of quality. Many players that are flying in lesser leagues can't make that transition to the EPL successfully. Morelos is showing consistent signs this season of outstanding skill (for SPL level) and I'm fucking delighted we've got him; however, to be mentioning him in the same breath as some of the EPL's leading lights is extremely premature imho.
  14. He could make himself an absolute legend with us over the next 3-4 years, increase his value, and still have the majority of his career still to come. Or leave prematurely and (most likely) fail to shine in the EPL. No doubt it will come down to his agent whispering shite in his ear.
  15. It's music to their ears, this increase in nurseries...
  16. Probably agree with that. Easy to get carried away in the moment. Over the next couple of seasons though, he could make himself a legend.
  17. sticks and stones may break their bones but words will... cause mortal offence requiring national media debate, parliamentary intervention, draconian legislation etc etc (yawn)
  18. It used to be mainly the record and snyde fm. But 90% of Scottish media is now dancing to the SNPs twisted vendetta against Rangers and the protestant/unionist community. fuck the lot of them. No surrender!
  19. agree with that. Much as it pains me to say it that wee snake Naismith was more of a creator in that team than Davis.
  20. "I will never treat people the way Jock Wallace did" (sic) maybe you fucking should have you mug, and a few more might have realised what the Rangers jersey actually represents
  21. To be fair to him, taking that interview in isolation, he quite clearly (albeit diplomatically and dispassionately) makes the point that BBC Scotland are tim-infested biased cunts with an agenda against Rangers. At least that's what I'm hearing.
  22. Totally agree. Halliday has played out his skin this season and made a difference in key games. He might not be the most naturally gifted but he does a job for us and he fights like a fucking lion when pulls on the jersey. Fuck all wrong with is mindset. And as for McGregor, Lafferty and Davis having the "right mindset"???? The OP must be mental. Or have a very short memory...
  23. Honestly don't see the point in this comparison as completely different scenarios. In the Souness pre-Sky era Rangers were on par with the biggest clubs in England/Europe financially as well as in terms of fan base (now we can only boast the fan base). Add to that the European ban on English clubs making Rangers an even more attractive prospect at that time. And then compare to Gerrard's task of operating on a limited budget in what has become a footballing backwater infested with taig media pursuing an anti-Rangers narrative at every turn.
  24. 100% this. Going toe-to-toe with the scum and drawing blood is the benchmark for ANY Rangers manager, whatever the era.
  25. Tav has wasted so many corners this season it beggars belief. Halliday, when given the opportunity, has been much more consistent and I'm surprised Gerrard isn't giving him much game time.
