The width of a post and an incompetent referee.
dogtanian replied to Gaz52's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
The pressure will be massive if we lose and quite right as it's potentially 6 points behind the scum, don't think he will get the sack if we lose however but I agree we do need to win every game until we play them and hopefully there after too. -
stokes assaulting Jack, beaton looks on!

Usually I say if your good enough the ref doesn't matter, changed my mind completely after that display yesterday -
I see someone has hijacked his Wikipedia, made me laugh https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anthony_Stokes

I really like the look of him, has pace, strength, rarely misses the target and makes intelligent runs while bringing others into play all the things needed to make a great striker.

I'm willing to give the manager and the players he brought more time than 2 games into a season. It's far too early to write them off at this stage. -

Pedro and the team needs time, today was a disappointment but it was 12 men including the ref against our 10 today for us, it was always going to be difficult when Jack got sent off. -
Doesn't get my praise until it's a competitive match It was a good performance in a meaningless match nothing more

***Official Rangers V Marseille thread***

Decent result and a lot of positives to take from it but if it was a competitive game it would have been a different result altogether. Just need to be more clinical upfront if we aren't we will struggle this season -

And then he scores ? -
Pedro needs time, supporters calling for him to sacked already are well short of the mark. We basically have a brand new team and the players are still learning how the manager wants them to play. I'm only counting we have played 2 games this season none of the friendlys and that's in Europe which was a disaster I admit but we still had some of the shite from last season which we all know aren't going to cut it. I will judge him and the players when the season starts not before.

I would give him a chance to see what his team and his tactics can do this season but he's on very thin ice after that fuck up in Europe. I wont say he will win the league this season even though that's what we should be aiming for at the very least but if we don't run the filth to a very close second he should be shown the door.

Alex Cleland thought he was a pretty decent full back and fairly consistent for us

MOH would be only be less pish upfront as a lone striker as he doesn't have a footballing brain & then he only has one thing to do, shoot but he is still shite and you can tell with his body language he doesnt want to play for us. In a similar situation as Waghorn pish as a striker but less pish played on the right wing, both should be sold as soon as a buyer comes in imo.

Pedro Caixinha bans Rangers stars from wearing green boots
dogtanian replied to Smile's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
About time I say can anyone honestly say they have walked into a sports shop and brought a pair of green football boots being a Rangers fan, the players should follow. You could say I'm uber staunch but I won't even buy a lacrosse t-shirt cause it's got green on it -
Memories of Ian Durrant as a player
dogtanian replied to The Widow's Son's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
Brilliant player remember that goal against Marseille in 92/93 season and also scored a great goal against Ajax in the 5-1 defeat away from home. If he never got that injury he would have been twice the player. -
I was referring to Holt, I was quoting another poster on the subject. When did Morelos become an attacking midfielder ya madman lol.
-
Runs about with no real end product and for a so called attacking midfielder doesn't score nearly enough goals. For me a player to bring off the bench when players are starting to tire in the match.
-
Had no chance to make an impact as didn't get the supply but from watching him last night he made a few clever runs into the box that wasnt picked up and actually lost his marker on one occasion.
-
No i got quizzed on it earlier in my previous post on this thread and explained myself. Hes got no chance of a club coming in for him from the EPL Ffs.
-
He's okay but I still don't fully trust him I feel a half decent centre forward would take him easily. Not tested tonight against plumbers and joiners imo
-
I'm not his biggest fan and would get shot of him in an instant but I think he is better playing on the right wing and cutting inside, don't know why Pedro plays him as a striker however he can't finish
-
The guys a class act and you can tell he was even better in his day. May not have the pace as he used to but doesn't need it when you can ping balls like he did tonight, thought he would be a bit player this season but going by tonight's performance he will be running the show and looks like the main man.
