I'm amazed people are wanting a clearly disruptive, unprofessional and poor coach in to influence our new coaching team.
I'm shocked actually.
This is one where the brains go a-wandering - he was an excellent player for us and a good captain - doesn't mean he's good in any other role ESPECIALLY for the above reasons.
Aw but bring um home, he kens whit rangers is, an is a dead gid playah - pure rangers through and through man.
Let him buy a season ticket then, and enjoy the adulation from the fans in the stands.

The amount of bullshit folk lap on here is unreal. 

The 3 major titles is a league he won where his team finished 8th and 2 domestic cups. 
 I'm impressed. 

That was his major problem.

He didn't have another way to set up or play. If possession football didn't work then we just swapped a player for a similar one and hoped it would work. 
He was stubborn and arrogant, in the end it saw him lose his job and rightly so.

The point is though that losing that tonight will have nowhere near the kind of scrutiny that he would be under if he managed Rangers.

But unless we sign someone of a higher calibre the more likely we are going to here again next season. We've already seen that signing players in a reduced market can actually lead to losing money, and the same will be with managerial appointments,

Agree that it should be someone better.
Maybe I'm subconsciously lining myself up with what I think might be a reasonable option for what I think we can afford.
Something else which sets him above our last 2 permanent managers, is that he's actually followed a normal managerial career path & also won something with a provincial club.
I know it's not a lot to go on, but I think anyone with a much better track record will be well beyond our reach.
 

Loved him as a player, but then i also loved McCoist and McCall. I think McInnes is a very poor manager. Best of the rest in Scottish football in it's current poorest state for decades is no achievement. He hasn't laid a glove on Celtic and that is a huge worry with regards being Rangers manager for me. 
The fans deserve so much better. 40000-50000 every second week for the last 5 years through absolute hell and the best this shower of shite can muster is an ex boss who took us to 3rd, the Aberdeen manager, a lower league Englishman out of work and a relative novice. It's disgraceful.
