  1. Essentially what O’Neill did when he first arrived at the taigs
  2. Pretty ambivalent about the English nation team but I’d rather they win it than the cheese eating surrender monkeys.
  3. Maradona may have been a cheat but he was also a genius with the ball at his feet. The unsavoury aspect of his game was just a reflection of who he was, a slum kid who was blessed with outrageous natural talent.
  4. The De Boer’s definitely. They almost did in 98 as mentioned above. Richard Gough and Souness could have as well.
  5. The extremes of opinion that Walter attracts is truly fuckin bizarre. Even Le Guen doesn’t get as over analysed and have every flaw picked over anywhere near as much. Cowardly team selection ffs ?
  6. Spouts shit like this in a desperate attempt to stay relevant and attract the attention he oh so desperately craves. The creep is probably reading this thread while rubbing one out.
  7. The atmosphere at that Kiev game will never be bettered. Ibrox was unreal that night.
  8. I know via the same arrogance of certainty that you know we didn’t try to win it.
  9. Yet you’re one of the few who’s actually embarrassed. The rest of us recognise the achievement of getting to a European final with a squad which had no business being anywhere near one.
  10. France or Brazil or maybe Spain or England if none of them win it then it’ll be Belgium or Uruguay.
  11. Wait...I thought he was going to Hibs with his pal Lenny ? I wish him well, he gave his all for us and had a habit of scoring against them.
  12. I can’t agree. The last 6 years has saw us paying the price for reckless, nonsensical, ego driven signings like Flo. He was actually good for us and we got a chunk back but to claim a net spend of around £6m isn’t too bad considering everything that has happened since i just can’t agree with.
  13. Billy Dodds and Kris Boyd had similar or better goal returns for a fraction of the fee we paid for Flo. He was a monumental waste of money and a perfect example of Murray’s hubris.
  14. I don’t know what kind of pubs you drink in but people holding back their opinions when pished talking about football is a new one on me ? Aye though, maybe you have a point. I think the relative anonymity of a message board means people feel safe to let loose.
  15. The online support, particularly those on message boards and especially those on FF tend to be completely out of step with the support in real life. It basically represents the lunatic fringe, with opinions and theories I’ve never heard from 35 years of going to games and mixing with fans. Look at the criticism and ridiculous abuse that various ex-players get yet if Barry Ferguson or whoever did the half time draw or something this season he’d get cheered to the rafters. The criticism of Walter Smith online I just find baffling as well, I’ve never met a Rangers fan at games or pubs or functions with a bad word to say about Walter.
  16. Poor DJ get’s it tight on here for never talking up Rangers, then when he does he still get’s it tight. ? He is wrong though, the 2010/11 team would wipe the floor with the current mob.
  17. Was a very frustrating player sometimes but had bags of talent.
  18. First game in 1983 in a half empty and disinterested Ibrox. I fuckin loved it. 35 years, ffs!
  19. Football is way too emotive and subjective for VAR. IF you got 3 people looking at any contentious decision you’d get 5 different opinions. There have been some farcical, albeit entertaining, moments already in this World Cup.
  20. I didn’t even know Rangers were in Spain let alone their travel arrangements from hotel to training pitch. This twat seems to take obsession beyond the even seriously creepy.
  21. If the manager come out tomorrow and said the sky is blue some fucker on here will find a way to take issue with it.
  22. I really don’t care, to be honest.
