Service to the Strikers

Service to the Strikers is shocking, absolutely abysmal.

Rothen kinda had it with his first half crosses, noone was anywhere near them, and then they disappeared come the 2nd half.

It doesn't matter what strike partnership we use now, there is nothing for them at all.

3 SPL games without a goal.

Fucking terrible.

From back to front, we are so painfully average. Bougherra is the only 1 playing a good standard. Literally, the ONLY one. Occasionally Rothen. The rest are absolutely fucking shocking. Its like watching fucking Doncaster play this season.

The thing is, Walter would have been happy with 0-0 v Sevilla, but now he's in a position that the fans wont be anywhere NEAR happy with 0-0 v them. We will be wanting an immensely improved performance. T

The spaniards must be quaking in their boots as we speak.

And before anyone says anything, it isn't a knee-jerk reaction when you complain after our THIRD goalless draw in the SPL, consecutively!

We are not Rangers class. Just determined to hand Celtic the title as early as possible. Even if we fucking beat them they will still be top knowing they have us twice at snake mountain. This is a nightmare!

That was pretty painful to view, It's not as if aberdeen are the masters of a mean defence either. The gameplan was all wrong, if your gonna play miller and novo then there has to be davis esque balls in behind full back and centre half, and nobody was playing them today. Shocking stuff from the management again I'm afraid to say, and the players need to shoulder a portion of the blame as well.

Add to that.... skill.

Novo? Now we know why we like him to be a sub. We saw just how shite he is for a full 90 mintes today. Shocking. Miller? Did you see that 'cross' that went straight into the stands? Complete joke.

Rothen is so far ahead of these guys, it's unreal. He looked dismayed in the 1st half when he crossed the ball in great areas to be met by? No one.

Lack of movement in the box is also a worry, we rarely have someone running across a defender and attackin the front post, we're too static.

With Rothen we have a guy who can skip by a full back and put a perfect deilvery in the box, we need to make the most of this

No point in making these crosses when there is no one in the box and our strikers are small and useless in the air anyway as well as the fact we rarely have any late runs being made into the box.

so if boyd doesn't score anymore it's everyone elses fault. that is very fucking sad. maybe if he wasn't such a moaning lazy bastard he could make chances for himself.

the strikers had plenty of chances to score today they just couldn't finnish them as per usual.

To play novo and miller up front is a mystery?

They are virtually the same player.

Nether can score a goal.

They run around and thats about it.

Novo will score more goals and is the better finisher.

doh this isn't about just Boyd, it's about the service to any of the strikers.

The game highlighted that even an off form Mendes is an asset to the team. He picks passes out that no other midfield player can (maybe with the exception of Davis). We played the same ball for 90 minutes yesterday, long ball to Rothen, 3 players round him and no support. We didn't even have an ounce of creativity yesterday and I'm not surprised that the strikers were limited to 3 or 4 chances in the entire match. We can only re-group, forget about Tuesday night and concentrate on the OF game which is a must win game even at this early point of the season.

Its not just lack of movement in the box. Its throughout the whole team its amateur stuff. Also Kenny miller nacho novo and naismith up front?? they will be lucky to get 15 goals between them in a full season.
