kyle 3
the big man plays there for algeria and does well and i think it would work for because it would suit his attacking style better and allow wilson to be played in the centre or papac in the centre and whittaker elsewhere which i think would be better for us
Wreckedroy 33
Why would anyone want to move our best centreback? Isn't it enough that we often play with 2 reformed centrebacks at fullback?
Jonnyboyrfc 296
Not for me.
colin 18
If Boogie stays I would love to see him beside Wilson next year, but for the remainder of this season he can play RB or Centre Back depending on Weir's fitness
MasterD 7,446
so you'd be happy for us 2 move our best defender out of position, and stick Papac in his place
WilliamFyfe 1,438
Keep him CB
caseyjones 3,009
Getting a right back to play in his natural position would be a better idea, Walter.
Sherbs123 0
No thanks. Enough players out of position.
WeeBlue 39
Ive no doubt he could play either position but id rather he stayed at CB.
Sherbs123 0
Craig Moore, Basil Boli The big man is comfortable going forward but I want him kept in the centre of defence.
derekweir29 505
I think Bougherra would be a class Midfielder honestly

Muff 245
No, play him at center back.

gary2006 123
i would switch him to right back in some games just to keep wilson match sharp
broxi51 48
i can see both sides of this to be honest, our best centreback being moved or moving him into argurably one of the weaker areas of the team and allowing one of the most promising youngsters in years to play and progress. I wouldn't be adverse to seeing this is in a couple of games but whittaker looked alright agaisnt hibs and if he could maintain this form on a consistent basis then there would be no need for this option. It's shows that when all the players are returning form injury that walter does have numerous options and that there is a bit a strength to most of the squad, albeit the right and left wing positions. GersBear 6
It's a good idea, but I think he should remain C.B. We need that kind of player in the heart of our defence. Strong, and has saved us so many times with goals line clearences and last ditch tackles.
Amac9 2,060
Hell no!Bougherra and Weir at CB. No need to fuck things about.
JordanH93 1
I would just keep him at centre back. Can see where your coming from with the whole right back thing though.
TexasGers 96
We have the best defense in the league and the third best in Europe! No need to made seismic changes
Otis 1
I think that Bougherra could play just as well at RB as he does at CB, i'd keep him at CB just now.
Pedro 32
I wouldn't risk playing him out of position at this time of the season. Maybe a friendly or two we could test him there but for now, no thanks.

Amy88 0
He could play RB. However, he's best at CB and really fins himself at that position as he stated once in an interview
