gsa 3,906
Mourinho had the measure of Pep from the off. Knew exactly how to set his team up in order to nullify Barca. Genius of a man.Not really. Barca tried to play football and Inter didn't. It's easier to be destructive than constructive. Mourinho has got to his 2nd ever Champions League final which puts him level with Rafa Benitez. Surely a genius would have a better record than that?Inter won because they had 4 Brazilian internationals, 4 Argentinian internationals and then Eto'o, Sneijder and Chivu who are all great players. It wasn't like Mourinho went to Barca with a team of nobody's.The English media love for Mourinho is sickening.

RobertN 398
Very one dimensional barca they never streched inter out of shape at all needed a lot more width but just kept trying to play it in the box at the first oportunity inter mopped up easily

Genius of a man.Erm, no he didn't.It worked out for him, but in the beginning Guardiola beat him to it (It was amazing to follow).Guardiola says his team will go out in a 3-4-3.Mourinho takes off Pandev (Who was 'injured') to anticipate on that.Barcelona line up in a 4-3-
Gaffbear 4,174
Lets hear the cries of Anti Football now.........Inter played the game well but Barca's second was never a foul and Inter should have gone out.

Jimfanciesthedude 25,639
the tie proves just how much barca have became a 1 man team, last season barca would have won that tie, they miss eto big time, iniesta obviously is a big miss, but still, without messi, barca seem less than brilliant1 man team? That's so over the top that it makes a Dani Alves free kick look quite accurate. Messi is a genius. Xavi is a genius. Iniesta is a genius. Pique is arguably the best CB in the world. They are a Torres/Villa away from becoming unstoppable, literally.okay so they arent a 1 man teamremind us again who carried them through the last round?messi went missing against inter and barca scored 1 goal in 180 mins of champions league football, messi got a hat-trick in what, 16mins the previous round

He got injured in the warm up so Mourinho had to change tactics. He was not outsmarted.
