BULOO BEAR 0
i love this guy and think he has the potential to be a rangers legend. just a point on today's game tho. a think he had a decent game but not outstanding. i think just because he's a new signing people are giving him rave reviews.remember this is not a pop at the guy i think he is the best all round striker at rangers for a while, just my opinion
mmrfc1873 48
Tbh I think he'll be here for a season or 2 then off to the prem.Ed-t - Brilliant player though.
JM1872 3,708
you chose your words wisely mate, and i agree i think he is the best all-round striker right now at the club, although i have to say kenny miller seems to be a strong challenger; he's fast, a team worker, works very hard, seems to be banging in the goals with ease now, and is fairly decent in the air when needed
Turnberry18 3,204
Jelavic did something against Dundee Utd last week that I really liked. He wasn't getting any service for a bit, the ball was getting stuck in midfield, and he decided that if the ball wasn't coming to him then he was going to it- he went to the middle and started getting things moving. That is always a good sign in a striker; great player.

JamieD 18,942
It's so refreshing to have two strikers who actually give their all every game. I liked Boyd but the other players had to work that much harder to accomodate him, and if he wasn't on form he was a dead weight. We now have a fully dynamic attack. You can bet your life that if either Kenny or Jela aren't scoring, they'll be helping the other one to score.
thomas_91 0
Fuckin love big Jela! Said in another topic am glad we got him at a good age and reminded me of big Dado, gives his all and puts in a good shift

kuiper 0
and if we can turn a good profit when he heads to 'another challenge' all the better, rather than a 'boyhood fan' leaving us for nothing, good luck to him.
Chef 436
just wait till the last 16 oh the champions league, im sure he gonna shine, seen with rapid that he can be the difference when it counts
mmrfc1873 48
This, I hope we keep him for longer though.I think him not being able to play in the champion's league could easily turn out to be a blessing in disguise. It saves him for the league which is an extra boost and he's less likely to get picked up from a team for a performance in the league than he is against the likes of Man utd and Valencia etc which will hopefully increase his stay here. div1601 3
Totally agree. It's great having a strikeforce who it's about working hard and also scoring goals...... Bring on the scum bastards!!!
Zappa6995 3,645
He's all over the park, puts in a great shift and knows where the goals are.I like him
RossS1873 1,656
he does everything that boyd didnt, for a start he runs! and jumps with intent to win the ballplus he know how to stick the ball in the net, thought he would have been a revelation for ustoday has just proved it WATP :jelavic:

bazzl82 2
its ideal that we got him at a young age too and he can only get better as the season goes on hes showing great movement and also does his part for areas behind the strikers to get things going
thomas_91 0
better than Boyd IMO, does more off the ball than Boyd did and helps the team moreoh and Jela got man of the match the day :jelavic:
Amac9 2,060
In his first 5 games Jelavic has shown that he is a much better footballer than Boyd.
Peat1873 8
he has the same deadly finishing as boyd BUT that isnt all to the big man's game all round striker him and kenny upfront something the tims can only dream of
Gid 46
Looks a real find. I can see us making a tidy profit on him in a couple years.Walter gets a lot of stick for his lack of scouting but credit where it's due for Jelavic.
Thommo 708
His aerial ability is top class. Great player who I think could easily score 20 a season.
delamonty 992
He's far more aggressive than I thought he'd be. Comparing Jelavic to Boyd is an insult to Nikica. The man works his socks off. Makes chances, AND scores goals.Boyd? On the bench for a championship side and out of the Scotland team. I too, hope Big Jela will be here for years but can't see it. 2 years and off to England. Going to enjoy him while he's here, That is for certain.
