Blackhawk 2
100 odd years past and i now believe it's time to cut ties with Govan/ibrox area. These areas,in the days of industry, used to be full of good honest working class people. They have now gone and the area around the gers ground is now a sad sight, chock full bad housing, drugs, drink and timmy.Time we got out"The Rangers" are not necessary a Glasgow club, we hold nationwide appeal and are selling ourselves short in that location.Glasgow does not deserve us.It works on all levels, new stadium, easier transport links, bang in the middle of Scotland.............say somewhere near Cumbernauld.Lets move the Gers onto a new chapter. What you think? Blackhawk 2
It'll be a sad day when this club decides to ditch Ibrox.Take the stadium front with us.Keep all the listed building punters happy. But why is it a "sad day"? .The place is an absolute hole. What happened to the casino.hotel etc? . Investors laughed at it.If it was not a matchday, they would need to quickly convert it to a bingo hall to keep it busy. If we broke from that area, start a fresh(as we have done before), we could really attract new investors, new fans buying into the new dawn. Some folk dont want to support a Glasgow club, but deep down, they want to be part of us...... Break away from Glasgow and we would prosper as "Scotlands club"! tangledupinblue 0
clyde have enjoyed fantastic success since they moved from glasgow to cumbernauld eh?seriously, are you aff your heid.We have a fantastic stadium in a great location. A stadium that is a listed building, admired worldwide, and is an integral part of our clubs history. A stadium that is instantly recognisable. That main stand is a thing of beauty, one of the most impressive entrances to a ground anywhere. Its also right next to a motorway and tube station, and has plenty of space round about it should redevelopment/ expansion ever become necessary. OK so some of the surrounding area isnt exactly beverly hills, but the area is/ will be slowly regenerated- look at all the building work on the riverside over the last 20 years.Football clubs only ever move if they have a need to improve/ increase their stadia and cant do it in their current location- like arsenal/ spurs etc, or if they are a pishy wee no mark team who are moving to a new town in search of new fans eg livi, mk dons. None of the above apply to us.

Mackem09 2
I don’t see why Rangers would want to move away from Glasgow tbh; although a move to a new stadium would greatly help the club move forward. Unfortunately though, with the current financial situation, it’s very unlikely ever to happen.
