Blue Atheist 193
Okay, so we failed to bring in a new striker in the summer..... and now we've only got the gash Healy to rely on after Naisys injury. Should we be looking to bring in a striker on emergency loan? (or a free transfer but i doubt we'll get a quality player if its someone who couldnt even find a club in the summer)

Papa Sasac 164
Jelavic, Lafferty, Fleck, Healy, and Hemmings is back in a month or so is he not?I think that's fine.

LegendofCoop 18,111
SiseHe can't play until January, as he's not a free agent.I wouldn't say Healy's gash....a bit harsh. The guy's had naff all playing time since he signed for us. Strikers, especially, need to be up to match sharpness. You can't ask a guy to come on with 10 mins to go in a game and grab a goal and impress. Hemmings might be the answer when fit, but that could be 4 or 5 weeks yet.I think Ally will go with Jelavic and Lafferty and use either Healy or Ortiz. Broxi 12,203
So is it just me who realises Naisy has been playing midfield?yeah but if Jela of Laff got injured he would be the cover for them and move up front. Now we have no decent cover.
BlueSuedeSambas 56,399
You can't get an outfield player on an emergency loan.
Creampuff 22,630
Can you get a striker on emergency loan?Anyway, I don't think we're short enough to be eligible. We have Jelavic, Lafferty, Healy, Fleck and McCulloch who could all play there.
LegendofCoop 18,111
I still think the only change (when playing a 4-4-2) will be seeing Ortiz come on at RM, with Lafferty up top with Jelavic.

G.E.C. 19,594
Sign Hamdi Salihi in Jan for about 750K. Will be okay until then.I've got him on FIFA. I hope he's like the FIFA version of himself!
Blue Atheist 193
You can't get an outfield player on an emergency loan.I wasnt aware of that. So basically if anything happens to Laff or Jela we've only Healy to call upon until January? That worries me, lol.

Who knows, maybe he is gash in training??

caseyjones 3,009
and has since stated he needs and wants another striker in.Things change. What's changed though? The transfer window was closed so we couldn't bolster the squad until January and that remains the case.
