Buzz 306
His contract runs out the same day as Scott Allans, so why has Scott Allan been talking to clubs already yet you seem to think Hamdi hasnt or cannot?Scott Allan hasn't been talking to clubs, it's just media speculation. West Brom could talk to him, cos they had a bid accepted for him.

Buzz 306
Eh, yes he has.And we couldnt bid for Hamdi? Slept it again.Eh, no he hasn't son.We could have bid for him, but it would have raised the attention of the other clubs already watching him, therefore leaking the story, and thus we end up with the same problem.Slept it none. What gash.

BlueSuedeSambas 53,894
This guy has become ridiculously over rated on here in the past few weeks on the basis of a few posters throwing his name out there. He's obviously a decent player but if we were in good form people wouldn't be acting all outraged and disappointed that we haven't been linked to him. derek1872 548
According to Sky he has a better scoring ratio for Rapid than Jelavic and several EPL clubs are watching him. Another one, out of our league because we drag our heels. This guy has an amazing scoring record. 240 competitive games played 141 goals. Also 9 in 31 games for Albania. He should well and truly be on the wish list.As pointed out some interest from the EPL. What a shame it is that any time a club from the EPL is interested a player goes out of our range. We are at a stage where we need to get these players before the EPL take notice, it may be risky and may mean we need to look harder and work harder, but so be it. We have a huge financial handicap and if being clever and working harder will help minimise the gap between us and the best, then that what we need to do. Sadly i dont have faith in this management team being able to do that, them or their scouts. Some well known ones for example - Dorrans before he went down south, Jordan Rhodes a year ago, Snodgrass when at Livi, McArthur for 500k before he left Hamilton, Goodwillie when Utd wanted £1m for him, Billy Sharpe a year ago, we could have got all those players for next to nothing and look at how much they are all worth now. All of them would walk into our team right now and all together we could have got them for less than we paid for Kyle Lafferty!

They wont even take the risk. Drag their heals until the very last moment and then when EPL clubs come in they can at least say "Ah well we really were going for that lad"? They wont even take the risk. Drag their heals until the very last moment and then when EPL clubs come in they can at least say "Ah well we really were going for that lad"?No, because we have signed so many players in the last few years, its the type of player, quality of player and age of player which is important. I can understand us making a few mistakes as its a new era with new people calling the shots who are not used to running a football club, Mr Whyte and his team will learn as transfer windows pass, what annoys me, is the actual football men at the club, McCoist, Gordon Smith and their scouting team, they know the game, they should know a player, it doesnt like they do though. So many obviously talented players have left Scotland in the last few years, for fees which we could afford, a few players i named above, where were we when these players were looking for a move? Why did the club not know about them and/or why did we not show any interest? Robert Snodgrass was a stand out for Livi as a kid, he was an incredible talent and is doing very well for Leeds, why no interest in him at the time? He is and was exactly what we needed as a club. Why did we not move earlier, a year earlier, for Godowillie, he was always going to move, why wait? James McArthur when we were crying out for a midfielder, we let leave Scotland, he went for half a million pound, pennies, now worth millions, a centre midfielder we now need. And its not just about players in Scotland either. Where were our scouts when Seltic were finding players like Nakamura, Kayal, Wanyama, Ki and the like? They have just signed a Swedish international right back on a free transfer, what are we now needing and where were we?
Papa Sasac 164
Never heard of him before he was mentioned on here, and still never seen him play.I'd be stunned if we brought a player like him in.
Chef 436
I'm not being funny. But we signed Jelavic. Yet somehow the majority of people in this thread think we won't know about his old strike partner Yup rangers are apparently clueless and unfit for purpose
FlippinEck 3,708
I never thought we would sign Pedro Mendes so its not completely unheard of for us to pluck a good player out of the EPL. Just don't see it happening any time soon!
