ForeverBlue_Since91 2,895
If what I was told is true, then this is what Whyte has been doing. Holding the fort in the interim and steering the club through the turbulent waters as it were.Sir Walter the 2nd.
MisterC 12,759
Sir Walter the 2nd. Not quite the best comparison as he isnt fit to lace Watty's boots, but I see what you mean mate
ForeverBlue_Since91 2,895
Presumably though he must be going to get well rewarded for thisWhy shouldn't he? Look at all the shite he's had to put up with, the debt that he never got us into the media having a new story on him everyday etc etc.He might not have done the business in the transfer window but, did we expect to sign 7 players or how many it was? We were told about the tax case and we might need to sell etc. And if it wasn't for him McGregor Davis....... would all be gone. And he's spent a few million on the stadium. thebooler 4,509
Brings a whole new meaning to Clyde Blowers, I can tell you from experience that McColl wouldn't give a light in a dark corner, tighter than a ducks arse and that's watertight. That's great news! One of his first duties will be tae rip up that fuckin Whittaker contract.

AD bear 0
With regards to Mr McColl, he has just sold Clyde Pumps for a tidy sum.....It will never happen thoughHe also spent a tidy sum buying it . He recently moved his banking to Germany as the British banks were stifling his growth . The selling of Clyde pumps was always on the cards

AGM_72 4,065
There's not a chance Whytes in this for the short term, considering all the personal shite he's had to deal with, if it was simply for 6 months it wouldn't be worth it.He's here for the long term.
