In terms of play I would give it to Davis: his pace was far superior to anything he was up against, and his control of the ball was brilliant; he was also very creative in the way he has been when at his best. However, people like to see goals, and Aluko scored the kind of goal that can give a team a real turn of confidence for future matches; Aluko for me.

As usual, Boca the 90 minute man! When the others were still trying to find their way into the game he held the back 4 together.

On another note, we cannot continue to play with 9 men - Sasa and Bartley give us nothing. Sasa and Wallace works better the other way around and the back 4 can't settle cos they're too conscious of covering Bartley's poor positioning and lack of ball winning. Big Goian's been half the player without a natural right back.
