simplythebest 11,453
I can safely say i'd rather have Mr. Alistair McCoist as our boss than Lemon any time, not that Lemon is a good manager at all, he always shows this when it comes down to it, so happens our situation has made it impossible even for him to screw it up. The difference in class between the two was pointed out to me in a text by a friend watching the game who is a Liverpool fan and has no allegiance either way at all, that tells you everything about how much of a fantasy it is from them Lemon is disliked for sectarian reasons. The vast majority of people hate him because he is an incredibly unlikeable man, while the vast majority of the footballing world has great respect and liking for our Ally. Great day today, we all know the final outcome of the league but denyng them the chance to win it on our soil is a very worthwhile victory, don't let anyone kid you otherwise. Hopefully we can just keep on performing well until the end of the season and with any luck in terms of ownership and finances we'll be in a very good position to properly challenge them next season, can't wait for it either. The Godfather 72,640
Ally is everything Lennon is not...Well dressed, well spoken, dignified, easy on they eye and most importantly a class act.

Columbo 588
A football manager is an employee of the club and has to act in a manner befitting its values, principles & any sense of core morality. The fact Lennon is allowed to get away with his behavior at Parkhead with nothing but backing from the Celtic board shows they have no time for the above statement or he fits neatly into their "Celtic minded" philosophy

Criticising him for his behaviour would be mindless. He IS Celtic.

Not that i've ever been his biggest fan with the constant smart arse media comments, but clearly a much better man then Lemon.
Blueshoff 11,960
lemon's two greatest 'achievements' as manager have been getting into the Europa league after a UEFA tribunal and winning the tainted league this season after we are deducted 10 points for going into admin. but still whingeing everyone is against them. Chef 436
Regardless of managerial ability, lets judge that when we can really judge him on that, plus we won the day because of his managerial ability as well as the players on the park, legend
