Great work.

Some seem hell bent on this being a violent bloodbath.

We cannot afford to have publicity like Manchester, we need maximum exposure to get our point across without causing trouble.

Really looking forward to this.

Any specific songs planned for this?

A 'tweeked' version of Kumbayah.

No Surrender Lord, kumbaya

No Surrender Lord, kumbaya

We won't die Lord, kumbaya

Oh Lord, kumbaya.

We're the people Lord, kumbaya

We're the people Lord, kumbaya

Sons of William Lord, kumbaya

Oh Lord, kumbayah

Lawwell's laughing, Lord, kumbaya

Lawwell's laughing, Lord, kumbaya

He's a prick, Lord, kumbaya

Oh Lord, kumbaya

Craig Whyte's crying, Lord, kumbaya

Craig Whyte's crying, Lord, kumbaya

He's despised, Lord, kumbaya

Oh Lord, kumbaya

Murray's praying, Lord, kumbaya

Murray's praying, Lord, kumbaya

He's a lair, Lord, kumbaya

Oh Lord, kumbaya

We've been sleeping, Lord, kumbaya

We've been sleeping, Lord, kumbaya

We're awake now, Lord, kumbaya

And we're filled, with a terrible resolve.......

This is a very watered down protest from what I had in mind. It sadly won't change anything and we're taking a step down a familiar street that leads to no changes. For what this shower of bastards have inflicted on Rangers ? A peaceful, light-hearted protest outside their front door doesn't come anywhere close to redemption I'm afraid. Very irritated at how this promising rally has turned sour at the hands of the fans groups interference.

What you had in mind is what worries the rest of the Rangers support!!!

Not sung 'kumbaya' for a long time C B, but like your version, your start it and I will join in. (tu)

totally agree m8 peaceful rallys solve nothing.

You are very wrong my friend. In our situation we need to win "hearts and minds". If there was trouble at the rally then that would only entrench people to punish RFC very hard. A non-peaceful rally would be self-defeating, particularly in this instance.

For those having a go at the OP and the ethos of the protest.

What other option was there? Take burning pitchforks along battlefield road attacking everything in sight? Don't be ridiculous.

Some things have to stay private on a public forum...but behind the scenes "all" members of the Rangers community with varying methods of dealing with our enemies met to discuss and put some semblance of order onto this. This was the outcome.

Sometimes a show of strength is all that's required...a lesson we can head from our friends in Ulster.

Do not like point 9 leave the protest area when a steward tells us its a protest I will leave when I think I have protested enough and got my point across thanks.

Point 9 says Dispersal: Upon completion of our protest,...........

You are taking offence at nothing.

I tend to agree, we are appealing the descion what else do people want.

Is it not a 2 minute walk to queens park from mount florida.

Not the park entrance where folk are meeting, its a 2 minute walk from Queens Park station to the entrance of the park at Vicky Road.

Mount Florida station is the total opposite side of the park.

Queens Park station is just cut off map, at Point A.

TRAVEL TO MEETING POINT FROM CITY CENTRE:

TRAIN:

Trains depart Central High Level to Queens Park at 5, 20, 35 and 50 past the hour.

Journey is 2 stops and takes 5 minutes.

BUS

From city center the 5, 44 and 66 go right to the meeting point.

http://g.co/maps/24yqj

Map shows the relationship between the station and the meeting point, and all buses stop at the stop between Oddbins and the Indian.
