Hi folks Bury fan here.

Id just like to make a point if you dont mind. First and foremost Bury FC is ran by Bury Fans. brian Fenton is a massive Bury fan of over 40 years and Jill Neville longer than that. No way in a millon years would the directors at Bury FC ever sell the club down the river because we are a very close knit club where fans, directors and players talk, meet, discuss football issues and inter react on a regular basis. Also a large proportion of shares are held by forever Bury supporters group. To add we have no debt and own our ground so anyone saying we are skint hasnt a clue.

Even yesterday one of the directors who I know very well released this statement yesterday via facebook to the fans "Money may have corrupted many things in life, but Bury fans can rest easy in that Bury FC will NEVER EVER sell out the town, it's club, or it's supporters. Bury not in Bury is not Bury anymore, END OF STORY!"

It WILL never happen but I wish you all the best in the future so long as you dont do this to any other club. My opinion is that you are just trying to force the SFA's hand but its a bit poor on your behalf to use us to do it.

I would stop supporting our club immediately if we went down this route.

Am sure most would agree

Imagine if some bigger name came along and tried to buy us and change our name ect.

We would be sick to the core.

There is no chance this could or would happen but even prinitng it is crazy imo.

Clydebank/Airdrie. Cardiff (The Bluebirds) now play in red shirts after consulting with their support who told them to ram it. MK Dons were once Wimbledon, but aren't quite in that place any more.

If someone had told me a year ago that The Rangers would be in limbo, out of Euro football for three years, facing a player revolt, being kicked left, right and centre, the football authorities hammering the club whilst the men responsible are free and also subject to a bid from a Cletci fan I'd have called the men in white jackets for them.

This game - football - is rotten to it's very core. There is every chance that this - or similar - could happen.

Doesnt seem viable to buy Bury.

I could see it though for Port Vale or Portsmouth who are both in administration.

Portsmouth right now are hopign to get a CVA to the tune of 2p/£ & completely winding up is a real possibility for them.

If Greens consortium does have funds available to them, i could see a vlaue in purchasing Portsmouth and taking their membership & other assets, then liquidating them. We would then sell the club, assets & stadium back to a fans group for £1 and the club would start again from the conference, while Rangers take their membership for league 1.

For it to work, it has to be the best option for the future of both clubs involved. If this was the only method of saving Portsmouth from facing a Gretna scenario of having their Stadium sold to non-sporting people just to make a quick buck back for creditos before they are completely dissolved, i'm sure the fans would approve.

The Bury story though just doesnt seem to make any sense.

Spot on, any new club can only apply to play in the countries pro league where they are based. If they want to play in another country UEFA will not allow it unless they have a good reason as well as the blessing of their home FA and the FA of the country they are moving to.

UEFA have never sanctioned a move to another country for financial reasons and never will

I wonder how that would stand up in court?

With no respect, piss off from The rangers forum.

I could be wrong, but since we play in Scotland I think they have to approve it whether we are members or not. They would hold the players registrations etc.

I'm not sure what would happen if they banned us though. It would be hard for them to block a move if they chucked us out of scottish football.

Thats one for the legal chaps.

We need the vote to go against us for admission into both leagues up here then if that happens we can go anywhere we like if we are suspended then not sure what happens but as it isn't a permanent ban I don't think we could leave.

I wonder how that would stand up in court?

Well if we've got five years to wait we would find out...as I said we need the SFA and FA to agree to it, there isnt a snow ballsin hell hope the FA would create a politicall row with UEFA just to help us out :sherlock:

No need for that

I'm making no apologies. I'm dog sick of everyone and their dug having their opinion about RFC. Especially those having the cheek to invade our forum to tell us what we should and shouldn't do.

I don't care what other fans think or do. I only care for the rangers.

I'm with you mate. To hell with everyone else, Rangers are what's important here. If a diddy goes to the wall, so be it. It's survival of the fittest.
