I would say its more likely to be somewhere between 6-8 million. If we spend 4.4 million on Brown that would mean blowing half of it, when we could get 2 other well esthablished players, with the right scouting, for that 4.4 million.There is no evidence that we aren't targeting the good bosmans, everybody knows that Walter likes to do his business quietly! Matt Holland did it at Ipswich, the club accepted a £1m bid from Aston Villa but he failed to agree terms and said he didn't want to go. He then left a year later for less to Charlton.
