FFS - listen to yourselves. Its no fucking wonder everyone hates us!. This is the sort of pish that galvanised the whole of Scottish football against Rangers. The sort of pish that lead to SPL chairmen voting against Rangers in the SPL. The sort of pish that lead to 25 SFL chairmen voting us into the bottom tier.

After everything we've been through - do you still not get that?

Piss off .

Name the Time and Place Dart .Time for a Demonstration , and make it a loud one this Time.Enough is enough.

Like go after the sponsors in a big way. Prime example no rangers fan should ever use william hill. If william hill lose 50% of thier business in glasgow they would pull their sponsorship.

That last protest was massive but what did it achieve? We need to go after the finances, rangers fans have an incredible amount of spending power in scotland and companies will fear a back lash.

That is a good point. But that should be something our various supporters groups should be organising.

Unfortunaetly the only thing that matters is money, yes, protest, yes campaign but the only voice that is heard is money.

We've Bears on here that won't give up their Sky subs because they enjoy the shite tv that they sell or because it's not Sky's fault.

Sky is the master in this game, that's who every bear should be targeting.

Totally agree. The only thing that will change anything is targeting the sponsors and witholding our money from the SFA when possible.. Whilst in principle i would love to have 100,000 bears protesting at Hamdump, it would only take one bear farting in the wrong direction for the Mhedia to castigate us once again. We have to think outside the box and not give O'Regan or the Mhedia any excuses. Remember the greatest weapon we have are numbers and numbers mean money. Any bear who gives one single fucking penny to the SFA either directly or indirectly is only giving our enemies more power with which to hammer us.

It is a good point but that's a more strategic move that can be delivered over the course of time if felt nessecary in the near future. IMO the SFA and country need to see a reaction now! With immediate impact - "peaceful" protest with banners, chanting, singing the full boona outside Hamden park this week; Thursday 1pm.

Saturday 1pm either from Queens Park, like last one, or from George Square to Hampden.

That's the talk on twitter and other sites. This has to be organised now.

Let's unite on this. We took 200,000 to Manchester, it has to be feasable to get that many in Glasgow on saturday.

im in. this has got to be done in huge numbers . then maybe someone will get the message that us the rangers fans have had enough shit thrown at us since the 14th feb . and we are not prepared to take it any longer . we have had enough its time for people to take notice .

Choose 2 sponsors and concentrate all our efforts on them.

Say William Hills and McDonalds - a boycott of these 2 should show results within 1 week.

EVERYBODY needs to do it though. Family and friends, workmates and fans of other clubs as well.

This guy needs to be removed, and I fear organised, peaceful protests won't be enough.

If we can stick to it, we'll see results. Then we move on to others until we get this cunt removed.

these marches whilst good will get us nowhere, but if we were to stop some Olympic games being played at hampden then this would get our fans noticed

Sat 28th July theres 2 games , why not ringfence the ground in peaceful protest

This is the kind of thing we need. I've just said in another thread that peaceful protests get us nowhere.

Complete city lock down due to some inconsiderate car owner not taking care of their vehicles properly and breaking down on all major transport arteries.

That's what I heard this bear talking about in the pub there.

He sounded quite serious.

Do you not think that would be something of an own gaol - negative publicity. Our press are hardly favourable.

I'd hate it if it coincided with the Olympics at Hampden. Look at all the International publicity it would recieve. 100,000 Union Jacks outside Hampden, fuck all inside. That really would be bad if we did that. 25th July to 11th August.

Now that sounds like a plan - I'm for that

The problem with the Scottish media is that you wont get any "good" publicity, I think it needs to be more effective action this time, sometimes you need to take the gloves off

It's not always numbers that make folk who matter take notice of a demonstration.

Take that lady who ran in front of a horse all those years ago to get woman a vote. Or that chap who ended up on an island off Cape Town in prison for a few years. We need folk with brains and the ear of the nation (UK not Scotland) to take up our case.

It's the Olympic year and the people of Britain are as pro-British as they've ever been. I think we can escalate this to the very top of national news with a little bit of focus on Olympic related publicity. Olympic football is being played in Glasgow this summer. Who's up for it?

Why is it the fans who are leading the club: where is the proper leadership at the club; where are the Waddells and Struths?: if we say they are no longer there then we may be in jeopardy of not being the Rangers of old anymore. I'm sorry, but the fans can do very little; this club needs to be headed by people who know the issues and take the case of the club to the highest channels of either football, or Scottish society. We have very few players: to put a transfer embargo on a club in this state compromises our ability to function as a club, and this needs to be challenged.

...in the current media climate and considering what a marquee event the shiting beeb and toryboy broadsheets are making the olympics how do you think they'll spin a bear army preventing olympic football from taking place?
