WATP-FOREVER 5,231
we discuss Jim Torbett, that photographer with kiddy porn and phil three names. All are wholly irrelevant to Rangers Football Club. We discuss players who have shat on us all by refusing to transfer their contract. Are they relevant to Rangers as well? Some of our suport are as obsessed with Celtic as they are with us.and jimmy saville, and billy connelly and every other papish minister that they've ever had........ But that's what they've brought to our country - nothing but trouble & shame - if the tables was reversed The Dude - there'd be outcying from the rooftops. SectionRedHMS 190
Just back from a weekend away with a group of friends, one of them being a sheepshagger.Of course, his first topic of conversation was us. He tried to say that our rivalry with Abderdeen is much worse than between the Old Firm, to which I explained that as much as we hate Aberdeen, we would always hate Celtic even more. In my eyes, the Aberdeen Rangers rivalry is very much one-sided. Is this just me? Or is it a more general feeling throughout our support?Aberdeen like to think there is some kind of two way thingy going on.We couldn't care less about them. They have no natural derby or rivals, just a bunch of strange talking buffoons hanging on to our shirt tails. The Brothmouths are not our natural rival, that honour always has been Queens Park.History intervened when they stayed amateur and never joined the league in 1890.Where as the Brothmouths were founded on the back of Hibernians cup win in 1887,amazed by the crowd who turned up in Glasgow,Brother Wilfred realised his project of an Irish Catholic team was in the wrong city,he wound up Hibs(who's supporters were mainly educated Irish Immigrants from Dublin and Belfast, not thick as shite illiterates from Donegal) and proceeded to Start that festering boil called Celtic and he had the cup winning team, strips and even took the balls. That bile infested excuse for a football club has perpetuated sectarianism since it's inception.Typical Brothmouths, got handed it on a plate, and still to this day that awful trait is displayed in every facet of their lives. King Jela 20,581
Aye right, an Aberdeen actually thought that ? Jesus. Nah, they'll never be close to our enemies in comparison to Celtic. Aberdeen are as much as a rival to us as the rest of Division 3 teams are.

They still think they are a massive club which is probably the funniest thing about it all.
Marco Negri's Beard 1,423
Can it be construed as a rivalry when it's just one team skelping the other every time they play?
NorthernLights 2,526
Aberdeen are pathetic. They constantly try and push their way into our line of sight, despite being a shitty small-time club. They're like the kid who stands behind his mate when he's fighting and shouts abuse, trying to act like the hard man.We have a rivalry with the scum. They're our local rivals and a disgusting club. They're the only other team in Scotland who aren't ridiculously shit. Aberdeen are nothing. We are STILL top of the pile in Scotland and they are struggling to stay in the race. Devlin 222
Lol.Doubt it.Doubt what? I've put up with enough anti English abuse to clearly state that there is still a strong "rivalry" - - in Scotland with regards to England.

To suggest there wasn't a rivalry would be absurd to them.Admittidely (Atrocious spelling ) a lot of people tend to be closer to being racist than actually hating England because of football rivalry. But Rangers v ra sellick will always be worse than Rangers v sheep.Rangers and Aberdeen fans used to get along until Neil Simpson broke Ian durrant's leg. Thats when the both sets of fans started to hate each other.Rangers and the the manky mob have never got along.Rangers v Aberdeen is like the English version of Man united v Leeds. ForeverBlue_Since91 2,895
That's the point I was trying to get across to him. We don't care half as much as they do and to be honest, I find the whole thing hilarious. The only come back he had was that they were a top flight team. To which I told him where to stick his top flight, we're having too much fun in Division 3.Top flight team, still can't fill there stadium. And they will still struggle to get into the top 6 again this year. Rangers in the third division still signing the "top flight" players Full crowds Home and away, and everyone is still talking about us. Our games are still getting showing live on Sky and ESPN BBC etc. Whens the last time "top flight" Aberdeen were live on the telly?
