TannochsideBear 355
Motherwell have played 5 home games, including a Champions League qualifier, a Europa League qualifier, and 3 home SPL games, and the total attendance for all 5 games (28,401) is less than the attendance they played in front of last night at Ibrox. That is all. Ricky_ 893
And the point of Motherwell FC is..........?nail on head.this is why scottish football finds itself in the state it is in.there is absolutely no need for a team like Motherwell to even be in existence. Far too many wee diddy clubs in this country. Mad Vlad Romanov made a comment in his statement RE: our transfer of SPL status, about Scotland have the best density of football support per population. Trouble is it's spread over hundreds of tiny no-mark clubs like Motherwell.Glasgow & Edinburgh is big enough for 2 legitimate clubs. Hearts (SFL3 feeder club) & Hibs may not seem very well supported but seeing 100k turn out for Hearts (SFL3 feeder club) cup win parade would suggest there is enough football interest in that city if they do things right.Dundee isn't big enough for 2 clubs. Aberdeen is a decent club that command most of the support from a city. Reconstruction is a must, or we need to get out of this coutnry. We're being dragged further and further down by these cunts while clubs half our size in England, Italy, Spain and even Russia cn beat us to players, offer more wages etc... due to the commercial value of the leagues they compete in. madmacmacmad 12
I was impressed by the contingent they brought last night. The last home game of last season, they only managed about 150, to celebrate with their beachballs on getting into the Champo.Considering they were supposed to be boycotting Ibrox and there was about 600 of them, I think it must be true, as we pointed out last night when they started to sing early doors - They only came to see The Rangers.I'm sure they were impressed with what they saw.
