I'm confuzzled.

Surely pole position is what you want BEFORE the race starts, not at the end.

Since we have a grand prix car and the rest have a 1968 citreon 2CV we will always be in pole position.

That's if the OP is being serious.

If on the other hand, as I suspect , he is not a Gers Fan, then he is probably referring to a ritual from his teams boys club when he refers to pole position

This involves the dropping of shorts, bending over, and taking the pole.

The OP maybe doesn't realise not all teams have a pole position, only his.

Many historians believe that his club only adopted the hoops nickname after the torbet scandal :7325: Now not being a historian I couldn't possibly say if their beliefs are nothing more than alleged.................but you never know :matron:
