familystandloyal 131
In reply to BarneyRabble, I understand Davie Wilson also travels under his own steam to watch Rangers. As regards McCoist, I remember being at a BB function in East Kilbride the Saturday after Souness left Rangers. The Guest of Honour was Ally McCoist, who had earned the knickname "The Judge" due to the time he spent on the bench under Souness (like Coops, without demanding a transfer). When asked what he thought about Souness going, his reply was "I've an appointment at Hairmyres next week to get the grin removed". A bear and a Sure & Stedfast boy - can't be bad.Coops & Ally both Rangers through and through.I was born in 1970 and was therefore 16yo when Souness took charge. I was fortunate enough to see Super in his prime and will never forget nights like Leeds away, on top of that over the past 18 months or so he was imho the one man who we could trust and kept the club together.BUT....I honestly don't understand his 'civility' towards them!!!He regularly attends corporate events/plays golf etc with the ginger bhigot. He had the chance to expose 'them' as the rancid scum that they are after the tunnel incident at Ibrox and didn't...and I'm still not particularly comfartable with him and walter playing along with the Saint Thomas of Burns myth by carrying his coffin, this was the guy who wanted to bring Frank Cairney back to the Glitterdome when he was manager. familystandloyal 131
this is the last im going to say on this mate, look around the world at the most successful football clubs and tell me one who doesn't have a critical support. The best clubs are successful because their fans do not accept second best.Any group of fans who accept winning one game in 3 are not following the most succesful teams. You only need to listen to walter smith or any succesful manager and they will tell you that fear of failure drives them on.So another way of looking at it is that we are winners because we do not accept shite on the pitch and if they are we soon let them know about it.Id rather do that than do as you say and just don't turn up.And tbh i don't believe that in all the times you've watched Rangers you've never given a player some stick,we all have ffs.Was it Souness that said...."Show me a good loser and I'll show you a LOSER!!!" UKIP BEAR 370
Don't flatter yourself, you're not important.Im that unimportant that you keep wanting to comment on me.After you declaring me a right wing racist one week and then a bhoy called Aiden the following week i refuse to take you seriously. You're a pathetic wee joke of a man who likes to think he's so clever, but i know your type,a wee smart arse hiding behind a keyboard but a total shitebag who was bullied at school. SE5 107
Bomber Brown or Davie Cooper.
SteveJ 743
I would have always said Coop. In my mind, this man was what got me onside with Rangers, regardless of my family bond. However, I have been reading that McCulloch took a 25% wage cut to stay with Rangers in the 3rd division and that was to follow with a 50% wage cut for the following year of his 2 year deal. That, is some man!Cooper, McCoist, McCulloch and possibly Wallace - all in recent times.John Greig in older days that I can just about remember. Yes, he is an even bigger bluenose than his former room mate, JG the jambo Actions speak louder than words and Mr Provan out does the rest mentioned in this thread by a distance. Until his recent health problems, you never had to look far to see DP in with the punters, home and away. In comparison, the likes of Weiss and Prso are laughable. But Barry does give us a mention in his rag column I suppose.
jack1690 793
UKIP BEAR is definately a bear. He drives me to most games. He doesnt sit beside me though.Maybe he has a septic top under his Rangers one & gets scotty to energise him from the Starship Enterprise and beam him to the piggery, then beam him back to Ibrox to drive us home when the game is over. stu54 128
Have to say after reading all the posters. Maybe Bobby Shearer was our biggest bluenose.

UKIP BEAR 370
One of the most right-wing people I know is a tim.Not disputing that but im willing to bet that if there is any bhoys called Aiden out there he's very unlikely to be right wing.He far more likely to be a left wing socialist/republican.
