G.E.C. 19,595
Who are we capable of beating?I'd avoid Aberdeen and Celtic for now. Hibs and St Johnstone seem beatable.
gogzy 31,195
We are capable of beating any of them in a one off match.Realistically everyone outside the top 4 should be beatable without it being too much of a stretch.
Thewhitesettler 2,714
If we can do for 90 minutes what we did, in the first 45 minutes friday night, then maybe, only maybe though, we have a chance. A home draw for the next round would be fantastic, & would benefit our chances of getting to the final..I BELIEVE BROTHERS! I DO BELIEVE! Mrs R 1
The way we played last night I would say we are capable of beating any of them.
centenarystand 2,229
Id rather avoid the vermin but would love a go at any the others just to get a gauge of where we actually are just now.
legalbeagle 3,734
I am not worried about them, but if we draw one then the key is that the players play every league game like it is that cup tie, get their sharpness to its top level and stop coasting as we have recently. Dutchy 1,200
I think the sheep and dundee hibs are the biggest barriers to us, other than septic that is, but I'd like to play them in the semi and Ibrox, put them out then have a party at the shitehole. I think that would really be funny and enjoyable picking up the cup at their ground, without them being there.
skinnymate1690 789
i woukd think the majority of them would probably beat us
WaltersGotStyle 178
Everyone of our players would walk straight into any team except celtics, so I'm confident no matter the tie.Hell - the likes of Wallace, Law. Macleod and Templeton would even improve celtics team.
themoodybloo 77
i woukd think the majority of them would probably beat usIf we played the way we have in the last few weeks then yes i concur, however play like last night and we would at the moment give anyone of them a game, I think we may see that the harder the opposition then the better we raise our game. nachothelegend 1,932
I just hope if we get the filth next round our players remember it may Be a Gateway to play in Europe. MAYBE.
NixonRFC 1,623
We beat a half decent League 1 team convinvingly at home, lets just remember that, I'd back every top tier club and most Championship clubs to beat that Dunfermline side too, plus I don't think Ally would play the same system against better opposition

iang2911 423
we wouldnt get into europe even if we won it mate need 3 years of accounts or something like thatThere is a chance bud, although very very slim. If Rangers did win the cup then the sfa can ask UEFA to allow entry. Like I said very very slim chance, point to note is the SFA's recent declaration that rangers are the same club and would receive punishments as such. Could they then argue the opposite if we win the cup and ask for a UEFA request to play?
Creampuff 22,630
This current team would be midtable SPL.
nvager 498
Dunfermiline are not very good and we should not go overboard on that result. We would struggle against most SPFL teams. Our right side is so poor. Most good teams will take advantage of it. Our CHs really are an unknown against good forwards. Our midfield is very average and Daly is off form and looks slow at present. My guess is we can beat a lot of mediocre SPFL teams on a good day, but are in danger of an embarrassing result on a bad day.It would however be good to see how we really are against top division opposition
gmcf 35,563
If I'm honest , if we were to be in the spfl , I reckon we'd be battling to be in the top 6 for the split. Not any better than that I'm afraid .
