So, despite the league being already won, we've managed to play and injure 4 of (arguably) our top 5 players in Daly, Black, Law and Templeton.

We also played Wallace and Bell today, risking injury, despite having highly paid and experienced 'squad players' in Smith and Simonsen.

Great work Ally as always...

He's obviously placing a great deal on going unbeaten for the league season which we shouldn't really get that wrapped up in. So many opportunities to try youth ignored for something that really doesn't mean that much. If somehow we can win the Ramsdens and Scottish Cup this could end up as a fantastic season. Playing the few decent players we have for meaningless league games is madness.

Are you advocating dropping all players for weeks before the cup games? Do you think that would aid match sharpness?

apparently we team of wonderkids who can take care of the league business and allow the players being paid big money to actually win us matches have a wee break. silly ally, when will he learn?

Well, hopefully he finds a way to do that in the two cup ties.

Making it difficult though.

Well to be fair we couldn't use the wind, the pitch, the part time players raising their game, the motivation, Charles greens comments excuses this time so we needed to have another one ready just incase.

If we had a proper modern, professional coaching set-up it wouldn't be a problem for players to be rested. Instead, we have a manager who consistently makes the wrong decisions, wastes money, and runs a coaching set-up based on laughs and cronyism. Nothing will change until McCoist and his buddies are replaced by modern professionals, and these don't need to be 'Rangers men' either.
