Lee Wallace

His pathetic attempt at clearing from his line cost us the game after 15 seconds of the 2nd half

But to see him as our only defender in a re-start of the second half is even more worrying

the lack of organisation - it wasnt even a break away goal after 80 mins !

Big lee had a great game on sunday - but any confidence from that went right out the window.

And sadly he is a captain not through ability mc gregor is far superior to him

as a defender .

He along with captain clueless play week in week out no matter how bad.I thought it was just McCoist and McDowall who adopted this tactic but perhaps im wrong.

Don't like to have a go at the kids, but from what we're seeing, there's not a great deal to back them up.

I believe that's down to how we handle them, rather than lack of ability, we also passed up a great chance last year to give them valuable game time when there was no pressure.

Wallace is a pretty average player playing in a less than average team.He never has had any competition for his place in the last 3/4 years but we seem to have 3/4 players drafted into right back position its as if the management daren't bring anyone else into that position or lee will throw a hissy fit like his captain another average player in a less than average team.

it must be hard for him, on one hand he is told to get up and support the midfield, overlap etc, but on the otherhand he sees moshni and zaliukas as the slowest defenders (after jig) and is clearly in two minds as to attack and defend, plus templeton hugs the touchline which takes away where wallace usually goes

he was poor tonight, but the set up tonight doesnt allow for an attacking fullback

oh and lastly, why is he the one on the line for the 2nd goal, where the fuck are our two centre hlaves AGAIN

In answer to the last point, he'd lost his man a couple of times previously.

Dunno if words had been said, but that time he stuck with him like a limpet & followed him inside - he may have been better off paying attention to the guy who was actually the point of danger in his sector.

no he done the right thing in covering the centre halves, if the cross is just a little softer the guy wallace marks gets a tap in without him there, the fact is that queens didnt break on the counter or anything, in 15 seconds from the restart the queens striker managed to run in behind our centre halves, now if they start on the edge of their box, maybe move up 10 yards, just how the fuck they cannot track back 20 yards with their man is beyond me

wallace has to run further to cover them than they would have to cover their own man, dreadful defending

Saw him being sucked in & leaving a gap for the guy who did the damage - whichever of us is right, he became the right man, in the right place, at the right time & made a complete Horlicks of it!

nothing can cover his mistake on the line, shocking

but if the centre halves are there then is moshni that puts it into our own net , not wallace
