Lodgiebear 107
Talking with great dignity about his time at the club. Not a hint of bitterness.Showing a lot of genuine class.
WilliamFyfe 1,438
I hope he finds a new club soon as I really like McCall
kaiser1041 9,107
He's not showing class he is class.i wish it turned out different for him but at least when I look back at him it's with a smile unlike some others.
Duncan Disorderly 182
Whether you look upon McCall as a supporter, player or a manager. He is undoubtedly true blue.
SteveJ 743
He did us proud, regardless of our final hurdle fall. I hope that he finds success elsewhere and possibly returns to the chair in the future.
Courtyard Bear 41,357
Made some strange decisions while he was manager, but was always hampered by the utter shambles he was handed after the 3 amigos left. Always handled himself well though.
gazza27 15,778
Spoke very well about Rangers and the job situation at the time
WeeJim 92
I like him, kinda sorry for him that he had to take over what he did so never really got a fair crack of the whip. That said some of the decisions he made for us and the way he chose to set up and play some of our last games showed he wasn't the man for us going forward.Takes nothing away from my long term memories of him though, genuine nice guy who tried his best to help us when it was needed. Not surprised he's handling the situation with class.
sandyinroyalblue 16,478
At least Stuart McCall can say he tried his best and always put Rangers first.A real Rangers man.
kanjo 26,497
gave his all. Still think he would've got us promoted in a full season but that's football. Unlike some, he can and always will be remembered a Rangers man.
simplythebest 11,453
He can still hold his head high at Ibrox unlike the other former manager still on our payroll
Dutchy 1,200
It was a pity he came to us with the insipid squad we had at his time of arriving. He almost got it turned around, but I think the malaise was too deep and anyone would have had a hard time just dealing and speaking to some of our players, never mind trying to get them to play football. Hope you find something Mr McCall, soon.

A Gallant Pioneer 555
He would have jumped at the job had he been offered it, even after the mess he made of it. That's not exactly putting the club first. I don't see him getting a good job in management again after what happened latterly at Motherwell and at Rangers sadly. It's just difficult to see where he could go. Obviously i wish him all the best though.

DMax399 4,021
He did okay for us in a poor situation, with an under-performing squad of players (bar the play-off games with Motherwell where I thought he was tactically naïve, and the team were exposed). If he had been given the job, I think he would probably have done okay but I'm glad we are now moving in a different direction with MW.I'm sure that he will get a chance elsewhere, and credit to him for not reverting to the approach displayed recently by ex-players, who were frankly shocking, and really should spend more time looking at their own contribution, rather than slating the club in general for their own failings. Dietspam 733
It's a shame it did not work out for McCall. I liked him a lot. But the manor in the defeat to Motherwell was just to much to stomach. I'm not sure if Cammy Bell can recover from that game either.

Big Al 55 9,536
To be classed as a true bloo; he would need to have played at Rangers even if he could have earned more elsewhere!Does anyone know if that's true? Cause I'd really like to still think of him as a legend.
The Godfather 75,872
Good on him.More of a man, manager and Ranger than that leech who's still sponging off our club. All the best Stuart.
