Ladbrokes were offering silly odds on silly scores yesterday...

1-9 - 500/1

2-8 - 500/1

3-6 - 500/1

0-9 - 450/1

2-7 - 350/1

3-5 - 350/1

1-8 - 275/1

0-8 - 175/1

3-4 - 175/1

2-6 - 250/1

1-7 - 125/1

So I've stuck 10p on each of them. Total stake - £1.10

Any of those scorelines come up, and I win between £12.50 and £50 :D

And if not, I lose a pound. :(

They've reduced those odds now though - from 500/1 to 300/1

To me it seems far more sensible to spread the bet across various handicap scores.

for example - £10 stake split as follows:

£4 on minus 1 returns £6.50

£2.50 on minus 2 returns £5.25

£1.50 on minus 3 returns £5.25

£1 on minus 4 returns £6

£1 on minus 5 returns £11

So if we win by 2 goals, I lose £3.50, but for each goal above that, my profits slowly mount up to a potential £34 !!!! :P

It's not a fantastic return, but it's cumulative and it seems quite easy money - until, heaven forbid, we stop scoring goals.

Good work. Think its the best way to bet now. Away fixture, opponents will have learnt from our earlier games, big match midweek coming up and refs have given little protection to our players. We'll win but it may not be pretty.

I opened my Coral account with £30, and won £80.

So I withdrew my £30 and since then, I've only been playing with Coral's money. :D

can't find it GB

Don't have an online account with Labrokes anyway and wouldn't one

It's a ridiculously shit website - it doesn't have a search function, and it never loads at all during peak football.

but it does offer silly odds sometimes, so I transferred some of my Coral winnings into a new Ladbrokes account.

Waghorn to score two or more at 9/5 sounds good to me.

We beat them 3-0 away last season and that was under McCoist, one of the only teams we took maximum points from in the 4 games last year. I can see us humiliating them this time round. -3 with PP is getting me 9/4 and that's a license to print money if you ask me

A penalty to be scored at 3/1 isn't bad either, with the pace we're playing at we've been getting our fair share of pens this year.

That's what I'm talking about!! -3 never came up but I can't complain with 2 from 3. Put a wee in play 2.5 goals at 80 mins so allowed my a wee smile as the scored their penalty :)
