Palmer yes, Gallagher no. He’s 24 and not even that good

You hold very high standards if you don't think Conor Gallagher is good. He's coming off a solid season. A late bloomer perhaps.

He’s good, he’s just not that good. He doesn’t get in any team that would be serious about winning trophies.

Seems odd that he’s decided to leave Brighton without something else obvious lined up.

Think he was helped towards that decision by the Brighton board, informed by how the players seemed to chuck it when he started wondering out loud about his future elsewhere.

Chelsea will sell Gallagher this Summer.

Unwillingly and only because he's an academy product and it helps get them out of their FFP hole.

Unless the EPL change their rules again, just in time for the new season.

It did very much seem a mutual decision. The board didn't seem delighted with him. He seemingly wanted more control over transfers too, but the transfers he actually pushed for (Dahoud, Fati, Igor) haven't really worked out to put it lightly.

What a fucking idiot Paqueta is. West Ham apparently worried that his career is over.

If proven then it should be. I’ve never seen the big deal about some bets by footballers but betting against yourself/your team is a complete no no.

Long ball over the top with pace really does cause Guardiola sides problems.

ETH seemed to have got his tactics spot on.

Stonewall penalty for City got cleared by VAR after less than 30 seconds. Then City just couldn't even seem to be able to pass the ball correctly. Ten Bob's tactics of the long ball along with constant time-wasting by his keeper worked today.

Poorest performance from City in a long time.

The Wembley experience was decent enough though. Just one of those difficult days when both my teams lose and I had hoped both would win.

Fitbaw can be cruel. But it's only a game.
